Bbts sent me a message back that theyre not sure when theyre getting the raiden statue in. An hour or so later i get a message that it has just arrived and theyre charging me. Wtf, coincidence? So weird.

Good lord, my Nendoroid Snake is taking forever to arrive. Registered SAL seems just as slow as Unregistered Air Packets. Been two weeks already since it was shipped from amiami.

I think it's the same thing, no increase in speed - just protection and tracking. Mine's been taking just as long as from HLJ

Those Playarts are a little too much like my Prom date. When the lights are off all seems well.

I have a few Nendoroids (i dont know if you have any) and this one is probably one of the best they've ever done. Usually these things aren't that articulated. They rely on switch out arms and legs...etc... But this guy actually has elbow and knee joints . It's such a fun little toy I like it way more than I thougtt I would.

The pixel head is so close to being 1:6 scale, I almost want to customize a MGS Solid Snake and use this head

I have a number of Nendoriods, the Batman one hopefully being on the way soon. Love some of these Nendoriods.

I'm hoping to get Zero v2 later this year though!

Hi there everyone! New to posting but have been a long time lurker. Just wanted to share some pics (amateur ones!) of the Gecco Raiden statue. My very quick opinion is that it is a definite buy for anyone even remotely interested in the Metal Gear franchise or simply the character Raiden. So here are my personal pics:









So my only gripe is also a positive. The paint used on all the individual armor pieces is almost a pearl like paint and it looks absolutely awesome. My gripe is that if in the right light I have noticed on mine personally two spots where the paint seems slightly smudged. No one would ever notice it just simply looking at it while its displayed in the case and luckily where I like it the light isnt hitting those spots where they appear. All the same its a slight gripe on an otherwise amazing statue.

Still a must buy, thing is beautiful, and it now makes me kinda interested in the other statue for this set.

mines on the way, i cant wait. i almost bought rising for my new pc tonight seeing i cant play it on my ps3 anymore, plus i heard the graphics are top notch on it. anyway, im not even sure how im gonna display him. maybe with the muramasa blade cause nothing i have has it. definitely thinking the spine too.

Yea its unfortunate and seems its just due to the nature of the paint used. Luckily its not bad enough to detract from the piece as a whole.

Well mine had a weird blob of gold paint on this right trap for some reason. It bugs me, but I'm trying to get over it.

I finally got my revo mini Snake thanks to Bateman pointing me to Amiami. I love it, it's a cute figure and I can't wait to get the Ninja. Did anyone pull off the crouching codec call pose? I can't get his right hand to his ear like in the press shots.

i got mine standing straight smoking his cig with his other hand on his hip pack. maybe one day ill change it up but i really like that pose. got a chance to try the pixelated head on my headless solid snake custom 1/6 figure, its much too small to pull it off.

Nope, got you beat in that. I'm kinda occupied with other stuff in life that I have this new found willpower to forgo figures at the moment. It will be back in full force someday though.

Oh right. There's also Solidus who is in the same boat as me. My issue is literally the figures are coming up are things I've wanted for sometime, like a few Nintendo figures.

Well, it's still a lot nicer looking than the small-headed, MGS V Big Boss figures .

I used to see a lot of chibi artwork for MGS back in 2008, and always thought, "man, it would be cool if Konami released figures for those". There was a limited release of the Figumate Sweet Snake figures in 2009. But, it was so strange seeing stylized female versions of the MGS 4 cast.

That said, I'm pretty happy that Goodsmile has picked up this line. MGS 2 Raiden was just announced, but if they can make just a few more figures (like MGS 1 Snake, Otacon, and Liquid), I'll be alright with that.
