Once MGSV is out and they're done making figures from that game, all they'll have left to make is the old games unless they stop making them all together
It's pretty stupid that we have MGS 2 Raiden and no Solid Snake to match him with.
That, too. Snake might as well not even exist in the canon anymore.

Right? Considering the retcon with his origins in MGS V....at least GSC and MF are doing Solid Snake justice. It's funny - every other company focuses on Big Boss, Raiden, and maybe Solid Snake, but those two focus on Solid Snake, Raiden (due to the MGS 2 Nendo being made faster than the MGS V Bawse) and maybe Big Boss

Revoltech have started making 6inch figs again, so hopefully we get a proper 6inch Solid and GreyFox from them. Also more MGS2 and OldSnake are very well needed
Just started getting into the Play Arts Kai line again with Quiet and Sneaking Suit Big Boss. Picked them up at Boston Comic Con. Haven't collected any Play Arts since before they adopted "Kai" into the name and long before they reached anywhere near $100+.
Can anyone explain why Venom snake is $120? Seems like quite a jump from $100 a pop for the rest of the line...

damn, i missed boston comic con? mother ****er. i wanted to go so bad, i forgot all about it.
Sorry to hear that you missed it. It was quite fun. A bit tiring to go for two full days though. Got to meet Tom Jane, Stan Lee and Manu Bennett. Picked up some cool items. It was my first con so it was a learning experienced and I'm excited to tackle the convention a bit more intelligently next year.
Edit: And I see that Ocelot is going to be $130, even. These prices seem odd.
$130 for Ocelot is outright ridiculous... it's barebones at best.

I could hunt for a used HT figure at that price.
The alternate hs is the exact same one but with glasses glued on. Makes me mad about the doubles i get for the alternate hs, those glasses should have been like millers.
By next year it will be $150 each...

Nope. He could of at least come with a scarf.

Anyway, anime island finally stopped squeezing my nuts and delivered my snake statue. His knife and gun can be removed from his hands so i futzed around like i normally do and came up with a different scenario from others who got this thing. In hand this its well crafted and heavier than raiden. Mine had a glue smudge on his right boot but i was able to remove nearly all of it. Here some pics.
