i used a flash, my room sucks. in order to take a nice shot i have to bring stuff outside. didnt really feel like doing that. i assure you its fine. btw, i also added back the foot pegs, he looks much better now.

Looks great Jason! What do you mean added back the foot pegs? I had to sculpt a connector and wrap the insides with PVC tape on mine.

i took the foot pegs out and just put tack on the end of his legs. it shortened him about 1/3''. i snapped them back in and crammed tack in the boot then pushed the pegged leg ends hard into the boot and it stays in perfectly as well as raises him up properly while giving him some sort of ankle movement. much happier now.

What's the verdict on medicoms old snake 1/6 figure? Thinking about picking it up but wanted to know if there are any differences between the two versions outside of color.

Easily switched out to a TrueType body?

How's the scale compared to other hot toys (I know the mgs3 snake eater snake is a bit smaller)

The Medicom Old Snake is fantastic provided you can get the head repainted. The sculpt is very faithful to the game, and it scales up nicely with HT figures, like the HT Najed Snake. The articulation however, is non-existent. There are member here who have swapped the body underneath, but it involves cutting the suit.

The only differences between the colors are well, the colors.

Heres an update on my phantom pain shelf. The base on the hand was stupid so i took it off, the steelbook was nice but thats it. The whole collectors edition was meh, maybe ill play the game in a bit i guess.

Hey Pliss, thanks for the help I managed to contact them and curiously I bought a Meryl from that seller -they confirmed that they DID use to have Quiet for 90- so I asked them if I can buy it for 89, they say yes. She arrived today, hopefully she turns out to be a memorable character (haven't play the game yet)

As weird as it is, id love a figure of this, it looks like an awesome fan smash of Gundam and MGS. However i absolutely hate this in the game cannon, totaly ridiculous.
