If they released an MGS2 Snake that actually looked like MGS2 Snake instead of the Smash bros version I would totally get it, regardless of it being one of my least favorite designs of the franchise, sadly Figma messed up too much imo.

Figuarts needs to cover this franchise :lecture

Fixed that for you. Imagine them doing figures modelled exactly after Yoji Shinkawa's artwork and colouring style. Plus if their JJBA line is anything to go by they might actually produce a decent amount of characters.

^ all of this. I used to be a huge 3A fanboy. I have lots of figures from the old days, but I wouldn't trust them with a licence nowadays.

And yeah, the revolmini was the way to go, but, are there any official announcements from revoltech cancelling the line? As far as I know Revoltech and Vulcanlog are separate entities with 2 separate scales, they could still release revolminies.

If Revol continues I might even buy BB and the soviet soldier to support them. I want a full MGS1 lineup.

And vulcanlog probably won't go deep into the franchise to make an actual line...

I ordered the Vulcanlog sneaking suit Venom Snake, but I'm not expecting any more from them after that. Totally with you on 3A, what the hell happened to them? Oh right, the licenses...

You definitely couldn't accuse me of not doing my part to support Revolmini. Not pictured - the olive drab VS and Soviet Soldier currently in transit. Bought them all from Japanese retail too and not resellers. Hope the line continues in some capacity, but that seems doubtful.

Don't get why people make such a big deal about Yamaguchi's faces, they look fine to me.

Solid looks like he's straight out of the MGS1 Codec screen.

Sadly now the price has skyrocketed, but it's not a bad idea.

Seen it for about £50 on some Japanese sites. Not really sure I think it's worth it.

Sounds tooo damn good to ever come true.

My dream lines are a Shinkawa-esque line.

And an MGS1 line done with the PS1 low-poly models.

Tell me about it.

HT have the license for phantom pain but most likely they would just leave us hanging for a really long time :(

It's a damn good little figure, that Solid Snake.

My Cyborg Ninja's got a couple of slight paint QC issues, I've been considering buying a second one to frankenstein one good figure out of the parts, then take the reject components and repaint them into the red/blue version you got on the tuxedo playthrough. Good idea Y/N?

That's a pretty good idea and Revols are perfect for it, being modular and all, so yeah, if you have the paint skills go for it.

I don't have the paint skills so I leave them as is :lol

Figma's weird, they seem to be focusing a little more on SSB than the original properties for the characters or something...the people who they give the figures to seem to be more familiar with SSB than the original games :dunno either that or they went off something else with Figma Snake, shrug.

Medicos is pretty good though, I got their SSJ Goku in and he's great. I wish they did more from certain licenses though

I'm going to keep it as just Gray Fox and Solid for Revomini. The more I see it the less the MGSV look for Naked works for me so I'm passing on the rest.

MGS1 Revomini genome solider could work though...

I just wanted to take this out of my chest with some fellow freaks over here, and that is that I'm at episode 31. And so far I'm not pleased with the game. At all. And I'm not happy. Maybe Konami did a good job firing Kojima. </3

No. The game is a masterpiece, the story is deep and well written. The characters resonate with personality and conviction. The music rivals Hans Zimmer. 10/10 GOTY. Now where is that glue I've been sniffing?

Yeah, it seems like it's leveling out close to originally retail. I'm glad I replaced my Boss's suit months ago since it was cheap. The originally was turning yellow and getting holes in it.
