I really don't get it. Sniper Wolf tramples all over her in every category that it's not even funny. I guess people gravitate to her because she's modeled off a real person and was highly marketed, as bad publicity is still good marketing.

Damn right. The only reason Quiet sticks out in V is because she's the only one in the game to get an arc at all. The rest just meander through the "story" and don't really amount to anything.

A crappy arc, but still an arch. The rest of the MGSV characters are really as lost and pointless as the story is. Thank God MGS is over.

Okay, maybe Zero was kinda cool but that's about it. :lol

The biggest villain in the entire series and we've waited to see him as the villain since 2008, and he's limited to audio tapes...

Yeah, it's stupid. But at least he has a reason to be there and sheds some light into MGS4. 80 mil and they can't even get a 3D cutscene for him. :slap

PAK :(

I might contact AmiAmi next week and asked them if they got a confirmation (or something) from customs. I never had a problem with one of their shipments before.

Oh, is that the Sneaking Suit?

Yeah, something is wrong. I've gotten a good dozen shipments from them and everything coasts through customs.

Because Kojima managed to somehow create a female character almost everyone who played the game has fallen in love with, despite the fact she never utters a single line of dialogue until her final mission. Regardless of what you think of her design, it's pretty impressive he was able to get people - men and women - to connect so much with a completely mute character.
No offense but it's not really surprising given her entire character concept. From the hilariously creepy writing/direction, to the victimized nature of her entire character arc. I've seen a lot of newbies and otakus flocking over her, it's pretty ridiculous.

I mean what's not to like? She barely has clothes on, can fight, and she's the only legitimate female character in the game's present timeline. Best of all, she doesn't even talk (of course!), and when she did, it was to save her beloved Venom while sacrificing herself.

She's basically the perfect waifu. :pow

Of all the characters, the most interesting one at all was Miller and this was the guy who mainly just waved his crutch around.

Also, I hardly count the waifu material as a "legitimate character" but hey that's just me. :lecture

Well I only really say she's legitimate since she's the only one that had an arc, however thin it was. She doesn't talk, then talks = Arc.

Miller was terrible, just the angry bad cop to Ocelot's dullard good cop.

@Snake Plissken on the Quiet bit: Fair enough.

Miller was terrible, just the angry bad cop to Ocelot's dullard good cop.

Eh I'd question this a bit. We actually saw Miller develop from being the jovial idiot in PW to a hardened commander in MGSV then as someone who saw nothing come out of his "revenge" and finally hating Big Boss in the end. This was all while seeing parts of him that reveal a pretty good-natured guy (he wanted to give the child soldiers a second chance after what happened to Chico, whereas Venom readily assumed they should use them). Miller may have been the "angry bad cop", but he was the only one driving the entire plot unlike "torture-has-standards" Ocelot. :lol

MGS V sucks.

I liked Miller, thought Fire!Volgin was fun even if it was silly, but yeah in retrospect, it was a mighty failure of a Metal Gear game. Which is sad because it had a lot of cool ideas, most of which were executed so poorly and haphazardly.

Liquid served no purpose in this, whatsoever. But I'm more angry about Ocelot, how he's so disconnected from the entire universe in V. He's nothing like any incarnation prior or after, he's just a stagnant encyclopedia that adds nothing to the plot.

Miller was definitely the embodiment of revenge in the game... but Venom didn't seem like he cared honestly. This is probably due to Sutherland's lobotomized performance.
