I do have a few of them in one of the boxes/drawers.

Not sure its a very good price. $850 is a lot for a group of lego men. Tbh i spend an awful lot on mgs and the od kubrick is the only one im missing, i just cant bring myself to spend that much. i just work way too hard to give up that type of money on something like that. If i got free money from a scratch ticket or something like that then thats a little bit different.

The price people ask for MGS stuff is just insane. Especially considering it has probably the worst series of collectibles out of any big name game except maybe Uncharted.

I tried through ebay as well and then when i ask you a price you fall off the map. You asked me what im willing to pay for it, im not going to tell you what i think you should sell it for.

Tbh no price that ive seen is worth it for the little piece of plastic that everyone is holding as the holy grail. I have the stupid silver solid snake and theres only 100 of those too. I also have the rhoby mgs figures and there were only 10 sets of those as well. That od kubrick is way too overpriced, most people want more for that than what i paid for the rhobys.

The only reason i want it is because im a completist with bad ocd. im pissed that i dropped the ball when they were much cheaper because i was addicted to getting the best deal on much better things. Ill get one eventually, but im not going to spend a weeks paycheck on it. Itd probably be the plainest tchotchke in my collection, but theres a hole on a shelf for it just like there was for the super lame vcd figures and the stupidly gay mgsv titans.

Just get a photo of unpainted mass production Venom Snake head from LIMTOYS. Check that eyepatch,I had no idea how they can remain that level of detail on it,that’s sick!

Great, can't wait to see more. But Firejclawjack no spoilers of any new project before releasing this one :wave.

Someone is selling an Olive Drab Kubrick? I have two. Would like to have a third. I love getting multiples of the rare ones like OD, Raiden, and Night Vision goggle soldier. I'd pay more for the Rhoby set than I would the olive drab though.

It's all subjective though. They are great collectibles and medicom make solid versions of the characters (if you'll pardon the pun).

I've seen people here spend decent cash on the hot toys figures (which are fairly poor) and also on statues I would not pay a penny for. But I dropped a 'fairly' sizeable cash on the OD, and similar kubricks, about a week after the press event it was given out at. No it is in no way the prices it commands these days but it is supply and demand and it is rare as unicorn vomit. Wasn't even sold so that adds to it.

Over the years I have considered selling my MGS2 set (although unfortunately my Raiden suffered the inevitable sword snap!) but I would never sell the OD.

i'm only missing 4 of them, Snake with Croc Head, One of the Clear from Series 2 (Old Snake or USSR Snake), Russia Snake & Night Vision from S1.

The Clear figures will turn brownish so i give up on the one i missed. The Croc Head seems expensive, Never liked Russia Snake, as for Night Vision i missed 2 opportunities to get them dead cheap and now they've gone extinct.

IMO the Kubricks are welldone and i prefer them over some Legos, at least most of them has unique parts & accessories.

Give you a choice would you go for Lego Star Wars figures or Kubrick if we just talk about the figures?

i have 2 Raidens S1, the 1st one i bought sword came snapped but worst thing is the seller glued it back so i can't fix it.

came across the 2nd raiden and this time he stays in his box.

for folks here i can see why the distaste since this is a 1/6 forum and people looking for more realism. anything a new superior product comes out the old ones becomes junk. there is no nostalgic tied towards them, which makes me wonder why do these folks collect like they are purchasing a fridge?

The Kubricks are my favorite collectibles besides the PAL Keycard and that little Shagohod that came with one of the collectors editions. I wish they'd release another series of them.
