Have not seen much update or discussion on the thread lately, quite sad considering how it was very active few years back.
Anyhow, here's my contribution to the thread - the entirety of my collection (minus the book art).

I agree, and with the ban of WellCQC, one of the few members who were always posting on here, I feel like the threads have pretty much faded into obscurity, I rarely see anyone post in them anymore but it's something that's happening on some others, Horror for example has barely any active discussions apart from a couple of threads.
I hope that with the future Limtoys releases the threads will get more active but I'm not counting on it considering the release of TIIXIJ barely got any attention and there isn't any recent MGS merch to talk about.
That's a really neat collection, love the customized virtuous mission Snake and Boss!

Great collection man. That's a good coverage of all the games. As for this thread being slow it's not just this thread. The entire site is loosing traffic I assume over FB groups but this place really doesn't do itself any favors.

It's a mix of several reasons really...

1) The site as a whole has taken a huge hit in traffic because it was basically unaccessible for several weeks.. tons of error messages, not working on mobile phones, etc...
2) There is really nothing new in the Metal Gear universe at the moment, no new games, none on the horizon, and companies aren't really rushing to make statues or figures lately, except for a couple.
3) The price of collectibles as a whole has increased a lot over the last few years, so a lot of people are checking out of that hobby.

As for WellCQC, he was bringing content to this thread, but I think the site as a whole hurts more from some toxic posters than from lack of updates or content on threads, so I don't mind having less posts if it means what remains is more friendly.

And yeah that's a frickin nice collection up there, congratulations!

I hope a company like GoodSmile or Bandai gets the license, I'd like to see a Figma-type of MGS1 figures.

Totally agree. Recently it?s been hard getting this to work on my phone.

Thank you all for your feedback on my collection.
I have trouble logging in to my account - can access and post once every few days which is really getting on my nerve...

I just realized I haven't posted this, so here is a message from Limtoys regarding the status of 1/12 Aehab:

Dear fans,
We regret to inform that the LiMini 1/12 scale Aehab figures will be delayed until Q1 2020.
As you know the team at Lim Toys always aims to deliver only the very best and we simply can’t achieve the level of quality we would like for the figures in the little time we have left, especially for the LiMini line which will be our debut in the 1/12 scale. The Limini Aehab will feature lots of improvements, like:

- The holster can now open and close;
- All versions will come with an additional pair of articulated boots that allow for better posability;
- Detail in the weapons has been improved;

And much more…
With that said there is still a lot going on behind the scenes with some very special announcements comming up so stay tuned and thank you for your support!

Some 1/12 scale LiMinNi Aehab accessories - final products shown - Comming soon!

anybody here have the nendoroid MGSV snake? Mine broke and I got it from Japan while visiting few years ago, trying to find another one now

I received the Tanya 1/6 Big Mama (aka Eva) figure in the mail. I wasn't even sure if this figure would get released. In hand its not great but I also think it could have been worse.

The head sculpt looks completely different than I thought it would. Its honestly not horrible, but I'm just not sure if its better or worse than the prototype photos. The gloves and hands are pretty cheap and basic, as are the boots. The Mauser pistol is very cheap looking as well. The flight suit looks the part overall but has some big looking zippers for its scale. The watch looks good and the goggles are ok as well. The belt is nothing special, the holster seems a little big to me. The pack is pretty basic too, but ok. I'm not sure what body was used here but its pretty bad. Her chest looks like a **** job gone wrong and the cheap bathing suit top doesn't help either.

I'll definitely have to swap out some parts on this figure, but I think it can be become an acceptable Eva to go into my MGS display case.

Here are some pictures. They aren't great but it should give some idea of what to expect with this figure.

Sorry about that. I can't get these to show up from my google photos for some reason. I just uploaded them to the forum directly so they should show up now.

It?s not too bad. She sort of reminds me of a Barbie.

I got one of these just to kitbash an Eva. The jumpsuit and watch look good.
