It's quite unfortunate that they cant do anything with the sculpt (not sure why...), but at least they will be adjusting the shade of green in area suggested.

Anyone know what a play arts sneaking suit zero version goes for anymore? Seems like the market for MGS has died down so wonder if odd stuff like that even holds its value anymore

Look what arrived today! I am so happy that this figure exists. I immediately added him to my MGS shelf. :)

Aaaaaanyway I think the likeness to MGS1 Snake could be better. I think the bandana & hair is a little too tall, the nasolabial folds are a little too prominent, the eyes a little too small, the nose bridge slightly too wide. And on the codec version, the bandana needs to be painted darker, paint beneath the bandana around the eyes could be darker, and also paint on the sides/cheeks could be darker too to invoke the codec art better.

That's why I did not order it. Their sculpt is based mostly on MGS5, this is not Snake.

I just hooked my PS3 back up after a few years of it being in storage, and I realized I don't have MGS2 or 3 anymore. I thought I owned them digitally but I guess not. What's the best way to play those games now?

Probably cheapest and easiest to get a used copy of the Legacy or HD collections for PS3.

I keep hoping that Konami will announce a new collection for modern consoles but... it's Konami, so who knows.

Yeh Im planning on tracking down a copy of one of those collections as I still have my PS3 - I just wish it included a version of the first MGS.

A new collection for the PS4/5 (including the original) along with a new game would be a dream though - there were those rumours of a remake in the vain of Final Fantasy 7 but I dont know if that was just a literal YouTube whisper or not.

Okay, thanks. Since I already have MGS and MGS4, it seems like the HD collection is the way to go.

You can check if you owned the games digitally by going to your PSN Library, if not you'll have to track down a physical copy as the games were removed for sale not too long ago.

I know a few people that got a PS Vita to play the games as they run well and it's awesome to play MGS on the go. Other great ways to play them are on emulation, Steam Deck (also portable) and trough Xbox Backwards Compatibility.

Looks like PSN Library isn't compatible with PS3 ... so I've no way to check for sure. I just figured I had them digitally because I sold my discs. I figured I wouldn't have sold those games unless I had another way to play them. But I guess I just have seller's remorse.

I'd considered getting the HD Collection for XBox to check out backwards compatibility, some reviews I read indicated that XBox performance was marginally better than PS3, but the XBox version was about $50 used, and the PS3 version was closer to $30. I ended up snagging the PS3 version.

Yes that's right- you can no longer view your PS3 and Vita libraries online, so if you want to confirm that you've purchased a digital game that is no longer available for sale (like the MGS Collections on PS3 and Vita), you have to do it on the consoles themselves, which is a huge pain (at least on PS3, since it's so old).

Merry Christmas everyone! Haven't been on here in quite some time, but I've kept my eye on potential updates of the Solid Snake. As you can tell from my handle and picture that I love MGS, particularly MGS3. I got some pretty sweet MGS gifts yesterday.

My abusive ex made me sell my collection 7 years ago, and it included these 2. After seeing these go out of stock and raise in price, I had kinda sworn them off and forgotten about them. I had mentioned this in passing to my girlfriend a few months ago, and she surprised me yesterday on christmas morning. They were both new in box and in flawless condition. I couldn't believe it. She is so thoughtful, and I made sure to return the gesture with a pair of diamond earrings.
