The "Flesh" Raiden is by far my favorite of the variants - looks like his exposed muscle under the armor!

Sorry - not "flesh" so much as "skinless muscle" :D

And the "Inferno" Armor skin in the game features RED ARMOR, not red muscle...which is what the PAK figure features: red/skinless flesh muscles UNDER the armor.

And I'll start calling this "Skinless" instead - seems more accurate!

Very nice variant fig. Cant wait to get mine but in all honesty I prefer the regular version I think he'll fit perfectly with my Grey Fox and Solid Snake. :yess: Seems like anything with the Metal Gear title attached to it skyrockets in value. I guess that's due to the international fan base.

Thanks guys & yes, i was trying to go for a museum display style as i dont have the space and budget to "get them all" ... So sadly, Ray will be a no for me
what are the dimensions bangkok_wolf?

80x55x61cm (wxdxh - the base is 6cm high), i think it's a little too tall - may be a few cm off should have been better.

Makes me wonder if Play Arts got the color wrong on this figure, when it's supposed to be the armor that's colored red and not Raiden's muscles.

the one with red muscle is just a variant bro.............

That's awesome Wolf, did you never put the railgun on or did you manage to take it off?

I had no problem in putting it on and taking it off at all
(but i did it only once on the day I got it in Nov. never
tried it again)

The problem i had was getting the sponge thingy @ the
battery case of the railgun and a removable frame piece
on the Rex's body (above the laser gun) out - accidentally
made a small scartch on the body alittle during the process :gah:

So how many days left until this thing finally ships from Sideshow?! My last payment is scheduled for the fifth of March. I hope it ships that week :(.
