lol I'd sell it too. It looks crap and doesn't even look like Snake. Plus with the stupid prices people are willing to pay for that thing, you'd be crazy not to sell it :)

I'm still at a loss for why anyone would spend in excess of $150 for either the PAK Solid Snake or Gray Fox figures. But... it's their money, so whatever :lol.

@ $599? When did they jack the price up? Oh well, I guess they can since you pretty much can't get it anywhere else. They must've ended up with a few from people cancelling it.

Yeah, BBTS usually increases the prices on limited figures. At this point in time, $599 is probably the cheapest that you'll find REX :monkey1.

Personally, I refuse to spend three times as much for a mass-produced PAK figure that once retailed for $50. Nope, ain't gonna happen... :monkey1

I get that, believe me I do. Unfortunately for me I got into the MGS PAK game a little too late. For me it was either get both Snake and Gray Fox at $130 a piece, or have no MGS figures in that scale. I took a chance despite some reservations (thought Snake looked pretty ugly in pics, and wasn't entirely convinced of Ninja's color scheme), and I am glad I did. Think they both look great in my display.

If and when better versions of the characters come out in a similar scale, I will most likely just sell the PAK figures. But for now I am happy to have em.

I procrastinated for far too long on getting Solid Snake and Gray Fox, and now they're too expensive for me to consider :slap. I really didn't like how Snake turned out, but Gray Fox looked pretty nice, even despite the repaint.

It's probably wishful thinking at this point in time, but I do hope that Hot Toys will eventually grace us with a MGS 1 Solid Snake figure

You're luck might change and the more superior Solid Snake from MGS2 might be previewed. :wink1:

I hear ya, it's weird that I saw members on this board selling these figures in and around $50 for Snake and less than $100 for the regular Gray Fox just before Christmas and then suddenly in the past couple of months the prices have sky-rocketed to ludicrous amounts. It must be the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and MGS: Ground Zeroes hype.

The RAH Raiden erupted in price at the time of Revengeance release. I picked mine up with Old Snake in the same lot for 500$.

Hey anybody know how much it typically is to ship a Hot Toys figure (i'm looking at snake) from Ami Ami to Canada? It's so cheap there and I'm kinda interested...

MGS2 Snake would be the grail of the entire line.

Yep, and MGS4 Raiden that of the MGS4 line.

I like Raiden more than Snake, but even I like MGS2 Snake more than MGS2 Raiden. I'm ordering Raiden first, but if I'll be able to afford MGS2 Snake too, when he's released, I won't hesitate.
