Well, MGS certainly just hit a new low with some collectors.
I used to be a completist, now it just feels like a chore. They approved my return and I don't need to pay return shipping either. Phew!
By the way, I'm ****ing tired of the heat in the northeast. ****ing staph it already.

I can't stand this Congo heat every summer in Philly. I miss blizzards.
Besides the heat, I love the summers in NYC. Winters are usually brutal beyond belief. Last year, the ceiling in my apartment collapsed from the Nor'easter that came one week after Hurricane Sandy. Water, snow and debris just came pouring in to no end. I'd hate to think what would have happened if I didn't have all of my figures already boxed and stored away

Funny you said that, I've considered getting my collection insured. I seriously need a fire extinguisher and new smoke detectors.

Little help here guys. What color is Sniper Wolf's hair? Is she blonde or does the game's lighting tints her green? Is this correct? Never thought I'm a bit color blind.
It's a slight tinge of green, I think you did a damn good job and recreating it.

Phew, that's a relief then. It took a while to do the hair, took me about 3 attempts to get the color that I assume is accurate.
Don't get me started on the face, I repainted her so many times I lost count, she's so smooth the paint just won't stick. I'm waiting for my primer then I'll strip the paint (again) and redo her one last time.
Anyway, I'd be happy to offer advice if anybody wants to repaint their Yamatos. Wolf just might be my favorite MGS figure so far!

Thanks Solidus! A repaint and a body swap does wonders. Do you have the Yamato 1/6 line? I think Jason and I are the only ones who have the full set. They're excellent with some work done, if you're wondering.

I went to pick up the Legacy collection at gamestop today and the girl said they didn't get them in and to try back on Thursday. a little annoying but oh well. at least I got 2 of the posters.

well, the seller with the blue raidens sold out of them. hopefully i get a chance to get one. dont know if you guys got one. there arent any more of them listed right now. i think when sdcc comes around theyll be a bunch more listed.
I didn't order it. I want to wait until someone has it in hand before I buy it.
