Wow dude. I don't know what the conversion is for that but that looks pretty cheap considering what they go for. nice find

I think its about $130.

It was an auction, and has a dodgy elbow. So it didnt drive up to full price. Having an iffy elbow means nothing to me as half the figures i own have some kind of quirk. I wouldnt pay the full asking price for a perfect one. This is the only way id buy one and i get a feeling once i have it in hand the problem wont be much of a problem at all.

My Metal Gear 1/6 figures setup...

All Big Bosses, boo!

Nah, just kidding, love the setup. :hi5:

Hahaha thanks Ryan and I suck at customs so I only have the standard 1/6 figures.
I guess the day that Marvel stop producing superhero movies, only then other licenses like Metal Gear will be able to have a chance at more 1/6 figures.

I just lost an auction for a limited edition MGS4 PS3 by $2 -__- I was at work while it was going to end...it sold for $105 x____x

even though you lost by $2 just remind yourself that the other bidder might of had a max bid $50 higher than he won by. Thats what i tell myself.

I just got the Metal Gear Rising letter opener, and I'm pretty disappointed with it. There's no color, the box is a tiny piece of cardboard, and it has the weight and feel of plastic to it. Oh well...

Hey guys, quick question: Do any of you have a sealed copy of MGS 1 (black label version) that you wouldn't mind selling? Let me know..

I don't mean to circumvent the commerce thread, but I doubt that I'd have any success there for a game related request.

did anyone order the rising usb drive? i feel like im the only one who bought this. also, what are your obscure mgs/mgrr items that you got? anything that isnt a figure or an art book. something different.

Try to PM new user mosyacollectibles. He's a good buddy of mine, I think he has one.

I do and i also have the special ops sealed too but i'm in UK
i suppose that does not help:slap

Sorry to hear that. Mixed media figures are actually quite prone being in their boxes so it's best to keep them displayed. My Medicom Croc Cap Snake and Old Snake also showed signs of decay despite being in their boxes, so I took them out before they got worse and that seems to stop the disintegration.

My advice is to get it displayed and not worry too much about it, there's not much you can do anyway. Oh, and get that his damn head repainted while you're at it.

Hi Again, this was what i was talking about earlier.Sucks that i decided to sell this and discover this, who wants to buy this now?
It's only noticable in sunlight though.

What im curious to know is if this was always there or happened over time.

That doesn't seem very bad. It almost look like they would have tried to highlight that olive green woth some more yellow green color to emphasize those shapes. Like if you look at the hair, those are quite roughly brushed to have at least some level of depth.

If you're intent on selling it, then you'll just have to reduce the price but regardless these Medicom figures go for a lot anyways.

Personally it doesn't look all that bad compared to what other Medicom owners had to go trough, so don't worry about it. And yes, it does seem like the deterioration came from being in the box too long. You're lucky the suit didn't melted or the body went brittle. Was it ever exposed to sunlight, even indirectly? That could be the cause too.

I always wondered why people kept their MGS Medicoms in their boxes considering they are collector friendly boxes. These things are time bombs waiting to go off.
