Gotta make way for those backflips y'know. :lol

All in all though, I think it's a more enjoyable game than Peace Walker. I can't go back to that after getting the platinum for some reason.

That's a great observation. TTS is BAD, but playable because of the source material. After one playthrough of PW, I skipped every cutscene and or codec. I got the Plat for PW, and haven't played it since.

How many hours did you clock for the plat btw? I played 100 hours on the PSP, another go after a corrupt memory stick (130 hours) and about 90 hours for the HD version.

I pray that MGSV won't follow a similar structure, all those repetitive missions and micro management gets old quick.

I couldn't even tell you, but it took awhile because you need to maximize Mother Base.

Solidus is the best PAK to date, you best be keepin him!

And if I had the room for dynamic poses, I would so rip off your White Raiden pose.

I just noticed it's the first time I've seen one of your collections and I own all the same stuff :lol

Solidus is great, I'll give you that. But MGR:R Raiden is the best PAK they have done. you can tell because they released it like 5 times with different colors and people bought it up. :monkey3

Just saw this old unboxing vid from Rev3games, it's nice to read the comments of non-collectors. I forgot that in some circles we're all freaks. :lol

Your display is cool Kiva

I see you reposed Solidus, funny thing is that's exactly how I had him until I saw yours with the crossed arms and stole that pose haha

Decided id keep Solidus for now. Atleast until MGS2 Raiden comes out. I was going to get a diorama base for RAH Raiden but as he cant pose whether he has a posh base or not theres no point. But i still wouldnt mind having a little diorama, and i think making one with Solidus vs MGS2 Raiden could be rad

Raiden is the more popular but I agree with plisskin on Solidus being the best made

Solidus is really nice but there is a few things that i think hold it back from beating Raiden as the best.

Solidus doesnt come with a base, so all though he has tentacles, guns and swords you can only really articulate his upper body. Of course if you have a base it changes all that, but as stock it doesnt. Where as you can get Raiden in to so many crazy split legged poses, upside down jumping ect. Solidus's arms also look very toy like when down by his side, and the fact they only swing around 360 but not move sideways is an annoyance. And Solidus is also pretty much Big Boss's head from MGS4. I know hes a perfect clone but Solidus had his own style from MGS2. So i dont really see the character when i look at him

Get him man. Solidus is definitely the best figure in the MGS PAK line. It's large and extraordinarily detailed.

I guess I will, eventually. Wait, no amusing self reference of any kind? :lol

I wouldn't bet on any old MGS games to be sculpted faithfully from PAK, as Kojima pretty much rebooted the look of the characters. If it's a current game to coincide with the figures (PW, Rising) they'll look spot on. All PAK figures based on the old games will almost certainly look weird (Snake, Solidus, Liquid Raiden and eww Meryl).

I know what you mean about the sidewards arm movement on solidus. I think if you get the angle he's stood right when the arms are by his side they actually look pretty natural. He (along with the rest actually) can look very toy-like if you don't pose them properly

I can see what your saying about a stand but basing it on figure alone i'd say he was better. Raiden has his own faults, no visors on the side of his head, horrible hair different parts on his suit (to the game and they usually are poorly stuck together. His feet are horrendous. Some have come with a scruffy face (paint not clean)

I personally don't like the new PAK stands i think they look a bit cheap

I'm ignored everytime I talk about Metal Boss hands :monkey2

Most people don't want to piece out a figure that goes for $200 now. There is someone on ebay who pieces out metal boss figures. He has two different sets of metal boss hands. Look there.
