I believe there is... Sony CEO was on an interview and they said they were "creating a shortage" (not those exact words) but to have enough PS4s for Christmas time...so that their consoles don't all sell out in November. So getting one at launch with no pre order is not going to be possible, unless you live in a small town. Plus even if you make $100-200 bucks off of it...not bad

I wont be Pre-ordering Ray, im just really glad that it seems to be 1 step along in the process of actually seeing the light of day. And theres no such thing as cheaper than retail price deals if you live in the UK because Rex was either pay $500 + $150 retail or wait for 10 months until there is one in the UK and still buy it at retail but not have to worry about excessive shipping (which is what i had to do with mine)
