Since we're talking about Batman, I'm seriously considering selling all of my Nolan figures. Hot Toys was so lazy on all of their Nolan Batmen, and after so many iterations, they can't even get the freakin' cowls to look right. That googly-eyed 1/6 monstrosity from TDKR freaks me out whenever I look at it.

I dunno i love the DX12. while the cowl isn't exactly accurate, it actually looks better than the movies one

Oh, did you but it, Zombie? Personally , I just don't like the figure. The armor plates are cheap strips of plastic, and googly-eyed cowl makes Batman look like he's high, or prepared to rape something .

Yeah it's my first HotToys fig was expensive since I got it soo late (was a bit underwhelmed since they have a legendary status here)

But it looks great, you have to mess with the PERS so it looks right. My only complaint Is the high chest so the abdomen straps show, it's quite frustrating.
I still need to buy the Iforigno cape.

I'm actually dying for an MGS1 snake, I've even considered buying snake eyes cause he looks like Snake and Ninja combined

Yeah it's my first HotToys fig was expensive since I got it soo late (was a bit underwhelmed since they have a legendary status here)

Well, it's about time your first Hot Toys . I tried adjusting the PERS in mine, but it just doesn't look natural to me.

The lforigno cape is significantly better than the stock cape. It just flows over the figure and creates a more natural look.

Messing around in Adobe Illustrator. I'd paint it but I don't know how to set the layers up so the paint strokes don't go over my line work

Cool drawing. Cant you use a paint dump as long as the lines connect so it traps the colors?

I honestly don't know, I've been using Paint Tool Sai for so long and I'm so used to it's mechanics. I like painting over my line work so it paints behind it, but this goes right over it even when I rearrange the layer list.

Good news is I really like Illustrator more, way better paint brushes and calligraphy pens.

Thanks, goes to show how good Medicom was with the sculpt when an amateur painter with a simple touch up could do wonders with the sculpt.

There are mods on Youtube on how to enhance the DX12 Batman, look it up. And if you really want a MGS1 Snake, get the Yamato one and get some work done on him, I think he's awesome.

Superb job! Keep an eye out for the next MGS art contest, I won the 1st one, gave up on the 2nd one because you had to use computers, something I know jack about.

Wait... what did he do?

He was sent a one-and-only prototype of a figure of him by McFarlane to be approved but he ended up burning it, thus Mcfarlane had to do the entire figure from scratch again. People have made jokes about Kief being not the guy to send your toys for approval, since other celebs (such as Arnold, Stallone etc) have taken great care to return prototype sculpts.

Well, it certainly takes a boss to burn down people's hope and dreams sculpted in the image of yourself. A "big" boss, if you will.

I've been getting news on Facebook, so far. Their 24 hour countdown for REX was pretty neat. Not sure if they're doing on this time, though.
