While we're on the subject, here's a WIP, early-stage image of the repainted MGS1 Snake boots. The problem with the Yamato figures is that they pretty much colored every gear black so a lot of parts have to be repainted.

All my custom work are on hold at the moment but I'll get back to finishing these boots someday. They still need lots of shading.

I've considered it, not sure. I am a sucker for dual displays. I just got my 2nd DX13 tonight to display the partial damaged head since I've always loved that makeup from the film.

Btw, if I were to get my first T2 Arnold, and if I could only afford one- will it be the DX10 or DX13? I love the clean look much more but I keep hearing the DX13 is just superior all around.

i wish i was getting both raidens at once, solidus x2 is going to look weird with only 1 raiden. oh well i can wait i guess.

ive been thinking of 2 different ideas for customs, yes with leds. i wanted to do the closed masked raiden where the tip of the visor is red and i also want to make the spine he gets his energy from. i already have my designs drawn up just have to get parts and get started.

Regarding my Koto Rex quest... I've been hunting this kit but I can't find any price under $100, actualy I'm tracking down one in $116 (rated saller and stuff).
I'm not into modeling nor painting, I guess I'll comission it, but for taht price, do you guys thing is worth the money? or should wait to hunt something lower?

If you can only get ONE, it would have to be DX13. It's the most legendary look for the T-800. I got two DX10's as well. I'll post pics of my four T-800s tomorrow.

I can't say for sure as I don't own REX, but keep in mind that we'll probably never see a REX in that scale anytime soon and some people say the Koto one is more accurate than the 3A version.

As for commissioning someone to paint, yeah it'll definitely cost more. I guess at the end of the day it boils down how much do you want to see REX in your display.

Do you have the space for the 3A REX? I'm pretty sure that has more of a shelf presence than a 9 inch figure. Don't forget that RAY counterparts for both these manufacturers will be out this year too.

If you're doubtful, get in touch with a painter first. Ask them how much would it cost to have REX painted.

No way that's for real. The statue is nowhere near production.

Also, he's from Taiwan, at best it could be a bootleg of the mold.

Btw guys I've seen Neca bootleg figures in front of my eyes before, and when I brought it up at the Neca boards here most people thought I was making it up.
