So I decided to give it a go at remolding Raidens hair. I'm still working on the paint, so he has no eyebrows right now. I think maybe he has a bit too much forehead, but I cut down on the hair volume a lot. I might move his hair a little more over the forehead. Not the greatest job, but this is my first try at modding a PAK figure.

I have had to pass on a lot lately, I still need to buy up the remaining Advent Children PAK since I only have Vincent. I've been considering selling my PAK collection of Street Fighter and Batman.

Ei? Which Batman line? Asylum or City?

I was just thinking of getting the PAK Batman line this year, should I start with th AA Bats or the AC Bats?

BTW nice repaint Zelu, how did you managed the tatoo?

Off topic. But its funny how, in the past all this metal gear stuff comes out and you miss out and say to yourself, "this won't happen again!" Than few years pass, and here it comes again, so much cool mgs items up for sale or coming out, and you won't make that mistake again, but lo and behold, life gets in the way. Damn you paks, Ray, and Snake Plisskin sideshow. Damn you.

You could say the same thing about most things in life. Taxes, mortgage, going to a once in a lifetime rock concert, marriage counseling..

Collecting toys is a luxury, it's perfectly fine to miss a vow.

I got a huge disappointment with REX. I had him on preorder paid the $599 plus $145 more for shipping then heard the sad fact that the box is too big for BBTS to ship . I was given the option of finding my own freight forwarder but the math was against the buy. So I got a full refund. Turns out it was in my favor since the new preorder is $100+ less ! Either way , I'm waiting for SS to put it up and I'll get it from them. They have experience shipping big packages .

I see. Now that we have that out of the way,

For a second there I thought you were having a Raiden-Solidus sword fight and trying reenact the fall off Federal Hall. :monkey3

whenever you want my friend you know what to do.

was pulling around on the hair and noticed it comes off in 3 pieces. its rather easy to do the one on his forehead is kind of a pain though it looks like it wants to tear away from the peg. i suppose i dont care because when im done hell look different and be permanently glued.

heres the finished shots of my raiden harcut. i actually cut all the molded hars apart separately and repositioned them all. i also cut of a lot of the "spikiness" off his hair too. after i moved hair around and glued it in place. i feel really happy about this. i think i got him pretty damn close.

I swear that if I ever had two MGS2 Raiden figs I will sculpt the hair on one of them to make him game accurate. I REALLY wanted a proper Raiden figure since way back in 2001 (The Macfarlane one looks like Clay Aiken). I even dreamt about doing the mod and was awakened by my cat who bit me at my toes. She does that when she's hungry in the morning.

Looking forward to whatever crazy stuff you'd to with this Jason.
