My Raiden's hand peg actually broke again two days ago for no apparent reason, and I needed to use a hot needle to get it out of the hand.

epoxy them back together. save all the pieces. wecome to owning raiden. there are no similar replacements that i know of. youll just have to scroll through em on ebay. probably just black. or maybe the storm trooper ones will be close!?!?! i took them all out and epoxied them at the same time.

who is that?

Im still bothered by those loose rubber socks but that Those shots looks great!. Specially the one taken from a low angle

but all the hands share the same broken piece of peg, so would it be risky to glue it back and then pop a hand into it? do you make the holes bigger so it wouldn't fit the peg too tight so you can still swap the hands or remove the stucked peg should it break?

man what kind of material did they use on those pegs, felt like it was originally just glued and the glue came off wtf.

whooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh. easily my most anticipated collectible. i wish your friend could take more detailed pics of the cockpit so i can start up with a game plan for the led rework. i cant seem to find any closeups. i want to see where the plastics and body lines meet up to give me an idea if its going to be easy or not. Rex was hard at first til i got him fully apart. after i knew his build i say i can do the full led rework in 2 hours. im hoping the neck and head are similarly built. guess ill have a year to think about it?!?!?!?!?!

they just molded them with garbage plastic. take all the pieces and match them together until you find the ones that fit and glue those. the pegs come out of all the hands. i never worry about mine epoxy is a wonderful thing. my raiden came with a wrist peg in every hand.

yeah, ive been thinking of ways i can harden them more so they wont bag out. i was entertaining filling them with silicone. i wont know til i get him in hand. not sure why they made them so squishy if he comes with such a major support stand. maybe those are the reason you "have to" have the stand to stand him.

It would be much more pleasing to the eye if they weren't all wrinkled. Might of been better if they came as hard plastic but in different shapes for different dynamic poses. That's going to crack eventually.

anyone know the orientation of the right blade grabbing hand & left opened hand against the wrist peg joint?

Off the top of my head I'm pretty sure the right grabbing hand is angled back, but I honestly don't think that's the cause of the pegs breaking. I think it's from their cheap plastic. I don't know how many pegs I got left, I've already gone through two.

i really dont know what youre asking here. btw the reason why the pegs snap on him too is because of the wrists on the suit. i straightened out the arms so the suit has an equal amount of bend and glued the suit wrists to the body even with the end of the arm. the wrists now have any movement i want. i can post pictures if you wish.

like whether the hand turns up/down or inside/out, anyway i figure it'd be better to just chuck a blutac inside the hand & stick the pegs onto it so i can turn the hand any direction i want.

thx for pointing out each hand have their own pegs since i don't have the parts with me.

OH CRAP! What a reminder guys, I totally forgot the half mold I made for Medi Raiden's peg that I made MONTHS ago! I ran downstarirs to the workbench and picked him up along with my other unfinished customs. Hope it's not ruined. It's the only working peg I have left.

good idea! if you could make one out of a strong material you wont need another set again! its just youd have to take out the pin and mold 2 separate parts if you wanted articulation. i also just thought that if you just bought a similar peg you could build it thicker with epoxy or supeerglue and if it was too thick you could sad it down. quick repaint with a similar color on the ball and "bam" all set.

ryan, i was already thinking how i could make a tail. the decal would be easy. i was thinking i start with a soft sheet metal base and sculpt over it. on the body i could tape up the back and sculpt over it so itd connect perfectly. (this is where my fiberglass/bondo skills from car audio come in) then i could pull it off and body fill all the imperfections. id have to just try like hell to match the paint. thats a scary project for me.

What's with the boobs on quiet? They didn't mold them into her properly at all. Just look like someone taped some ***** to her chest. Her chin is too pointy too. Quiet has a stubby chin. There is no reason for them to **** it up at all because they have HD scans of her to work with.
