Is there any reason why we are not seeing any MGS3 PAK figures? Is it due to Hot Toys buying the rights?
At this stage I am far behind the rest of you when it comes to MGS figures. Only have Solid Snake and Cyborg Ninja. I ordered Liquid and Raiden over the past week and still waiting for them. Still looking for Solidus, Meryl, Big Boss Sneaking Suit, Raiden Inferno armour and ofcourse Red Cyborg Ninja (where on earth do I find one that is at a reasonable price!?). I also own the 3A Rex luckily, but the Ray was just too expensive.

It would be a bit weird if they wouldn't have license to that particular game. Though I suppose it could be possible. I would also like to see MGS3 figures, but more than that I would like to see pak MGS2 Solid Snake or preferably Iroquois Pliskin -version, Revolver Ocelot and Old Snake.

It's cause MGS3 is the worst of the original trilogy. ;p

I assumed cause most of the characters are from the Solid timeline. And BigBoss has been done 1000 times already

I doubt the lack of MGS3 PAK is to do with HT having the license

They'll only have the 1/6 license anyways. They'll be biding there time to release them as they have to fit it MGSV, older MGS while also expanding the other PAK lines

Wouldn't surprise me if MGS2 snake is 2 years away or most probably never

I think PAK should have done one game at a time. Going on the importance of the characters.

MGS1: Solid Snake, Ninja, Meryl, Liquid, Ocelot, Mantis, Wolf, Raven, Otacon.
MGS2: Raiden, Solid Snake, Solidus, Plisken, Olga, Fortune, Fatman, Vamp, Ocelot and maybe Emma
MGS3: Naked Snake, The Boss, Volgin, Ocelot, Eva, The Pain, The Fury, The End, The Fear and The Sorrow
MGS4: Old Snake, Liquid Ocelot, Raiden, Vamp, Raging Raven, Laughing Octopus, Crying Wolf, Screaming Mantis

Is there any figures I left out or added in my list that you guys would add or take out?

Yeah they went a completely screwball order didn't they?

So first the peace walker stuff, made sense.
Then MGS1 Snake and fox, nice surprise with a call back to the original top two characters.
Then Solidus from MGS2 what the holy hell?


So figures for new games absolutely but for any other game in the series they went with this method:

It seems to me like the initially were only going to make Solid and Ninja from MGS1 and then moved straight onto MGS2 with Solidus.

Then they got released and they sold well so they went back and revisited MGS1 with Meryl while having to then make Raiden for the upcoming Rising and all the variants

They then again back peddled and made MGS1 Liquid and Raiden while simultaneously having to make MGSV GZ figures

I actually love that they're willing to release figures for current title along with other MG games. Im surprised though, that they've put figures in development for TTP soo soon since that wont be out until March2015 at the earliest.

They've completed the GZ figure so wheres the new MGS2/3/4 figures at?
Unless theyre gonna be more secretive than before like with Quite who looks damn near finished

I think well see ocelot in mgs/mgs2 form and solid or plissken. Those were the rest of the core characters from those 2 games. I'm speaking about pak only.

That would be awesome, 1/48 MGS1 solid and liquid would be great too.
A bit off topic but did anyone play the titanfall beta? I gave it a crack on PC it's good fun.

I didnt care for it. It felt like COD with mechs and I could see myself tiring of it very quickly.

I got Liquid today and you know what? I like it alot. Hes my favorite since Solid Snake, his jacket is great and it covers all the horrible PAK shoulder joints. Only real complaint is he smells like a tire factory.

Mech games belong in simulators - with a virtual cockpit and HUD sensors; to give you the feel like you're actually piloting something. Or else, it feels like you're just taking control of a COD guy. I still play my old MechWarrior games from time to time. It's a shame what happened to the franchise.

How's the paint job, though? A few people (including Jason) said that their figures got "burnt faces" out of the packaging.

Its strange. It looks a little sun burnt and its hard to see his eye brows but I just dont mind it for some reason. I think if you guys got one you would like it too, its certainly better than Raiden.

dyl, i wouldnt say hes better than raiden. my lighting makes the sunburn go away, i removed the pouch and shifted the belt, but for some reason i posed him and forgot about him. i was so excited to get him and when he arrived and i just posed him and i immediately forgot he was there. ever since i redid raidens hair hes been one of my favorites. thats really his only flaw. the paint on mine is excellent too!!! my liquid smells like tires too, i think its because of his jacket. the wires inside are totally useless. (although its super flexible and doesnt hinder his poses at all(contrary to what others have said, per usual)).

I like your mod to Raiden but I hate his shoulders, how small his head it, the paint, the hair color and how high his head sticks off his neck because of the peg. Raiden has been the biggest disappointment from the line so far for me (granted I never go Meryl). Liquid has his problems but they are mostly the same problems I had with Solid Snake.

So I opened up my Liquid and wtf, his shoulders were attached wrong? The ball joint barely works, I can't rotate or pose his arms that well. I had to do some twisting a bit to get it right. His right arm works but the left one barely poses and honestly I worry about it maybe breaking.

On the other hand his paint job is good at least. Bar this stupid splotch on his stinger.
