Gecco also announced that they're making a variant/reissue of their 1/6 Guts from Berserk, so here's to hoping that more MGS pieces follow - would mind a variant of their BB.

After I saw that announcement, I'm hoping we get MGS reissues. Having sold all my Geccos years ago, I'd love the chance to buy everything again without having to sell a kidney lol

Would love an old snake statue too and MGS1 and some Delta stuff too please

I sold off all my Gecco Dark Souls stuff but I still own all their previous Metal Gear statues. My saddest regrets is I never bought their Bloodborne Doll statue. It didn't look really appealing at the time for $300, and it definitely has no appeal for me now at $1000+, but I certainly wouldn't of mind owning it just to capitalize on its supposed value.

No Kojima. Not my Metal Gear.

Kojima is so overrated. Look how juvenile and silly the writing is for PW, MGS4, and MGSV. Even 1,2 and 3 had their really silly moments and those were his best work. The gameplay in the games are awesome, but the writing is subpar in most cases.

Seriously though, I agree that the dialogue is extremely silly at times (particularly in MGS 2), but those games were his babies, and all the great stuff we take away from it far outweigh the lame and weird stuff.

Haha nice gifs. Like I said, the gameplay was awesome and was ahead of its time. Just the writing was bad. Who can forget Johny running around with diarrhea in his pants and then having this “romantic” shootout with Meryl and they fall in love. Or Quiet barely wearing any clothes on the battlefield because her skin needs to breathe. Just pure silliness lol.

No doubt. The CODEC conversations alone are filled with cringe. I personally think that is part of the charm of those games, where they don't take themselves overly seriously, but it does stand as a counterpoint to the serious focus of most of the story and the characters.
