Finally, a direct shot of Raiden

I have to say, this isn’t their best work; the face needs some changing and the body proportions, but still great to see!
It definitely looks like an early proto, not as refined as Raiden. Doesn't even have a base yet, and look at the shirt especially the collar area. I'm certain that'd improve it. I'm just happy we're getting more MGS stuff.

To those asking about a gecco solid snake. A few people on the gecco collectors facebook group directed messaged gecco circa 2019 asking about him being made and one response from their representative said “he is in our plans but the license is hard to get” and another response said “he is not in our plans as the license is hard to get.”

Make of that what you will. Maybe it’s still the case. Maybe they are still trying to acquire it, maybe they have given up on making him.

No one wants to see gecco tackle MGS1/2 snake more than me.

I'm just glad mgs4 is being made, the medicom ones are really outdated. even if gecco just do old snake I'll be happy.

I guess it makes sense to do mgs3 but I'm getting tired of big boss I want more solid snake in 1/6 format.

From the sign on Raiden, what is a "Rolandteller"? :lol

Sculptor, maybe? I was wondering that myself. :lol

I can't wait for MGS4 Raiden. I'm praying for an eventual Old Snake to accompany him, but Gecco seems averse to making Solid in any of his incarnations. I think Old Snake might be my favourite version of the character, at least in terms of design.

As for Gecco's Big Boss... the face in particular needs work, as has already been discussed. Hopefully they'll go deep with a MGS3 line to coincide with the release of Delta, like they did with the SH2 remake. Maybe a Boss? AN OCELOT?

Yeah, seems like a sculptor (at first, I thought it was an unofficial "bootleg" name).

The lack of licensed 1/6 figures and statues for Snake is just startling. I'd really like an Old Snake fig to replace my RAH Medicom version.

I thought they could make any character once they acquired the game license (with pre and post development approval, of course). But "hard to get"? This makes very little sense to me.

F4F did get the license for MGS1 (1/4) and their prices aren't Square x Prime 1 type of expensive, so it's clearly not impossible.

Almost anything Gecco makes seems to sell like hot cakes, so they could definitely get the licensing costs covered - I think that their manufacturing is what's lacking behind, as seen with the Sekiro 1/6.

Anyone thinks HT or another company will make MGS Snake Eater Remake Snake? Definitely want some figures from the new game.

Unless HT starts a new line of video game figures in 2025, I highly doubt it - they don't seem to have any interest in video game IP's (not counting Arcane and Star Wars games).

I'm not really seeing other companies making articulated MGS figures either unless Delta proves out to be a massive hit.
