Re: MG2065 - project updates - Popeye paint update page 52

To be fair, I have been painting for a while here but really just for Mike, outside my own stuff. This is definitely my best human. Like I told Mike, I think this one is the turning point for me. The painting thing has been a tough nut to crack. Hope its just the start of something.

Mike's stuff is so damn fun to work on. Loved everyone of them.

Sho Nuff WIP. The hair is just a place holder for the wig. Hope you guys like!!

This whole time I thought the real hair was the obvious choice, but this placeholder is making think otherwise.

Maybe a mix of sculpted and real hair?

Wig would probably work the best. The placeholder probably looks better because it isn't in sections. I would have to cut it in section and cast each piece separately and then attach somehow to the head. It might look bad if it has the seams.

Right!

I'm so anxious to have Sho displayed on my shelf.

I should be getting Dark Helmet back from Seb here shortly.

With Popeye and Sho Nuff I will have three of your figures on my shelf. :)

Popeye is my most hoped maybe sometime in the future MG could do a mask as well soon as he is god of sculpting Jim carrey!

I was offered £2,000 for my grinch and he still stays that's how powerful MG's work is!
Great work Mike :D
