what's the plan for popeye's forearms??

That's a great question. I'm open to suggestions if you guys have any.

My thought is to mold the lower arm post into the resin. So basically you would then have one solid piece molded to the pivot joint which would plug into the upper arm. I'm not sure if the new truetypes coming out will be easy to disassemble though so i may need an alternate plan.

What about a two part arm that covers the truetype arm and is glued together? That way you don't lose any articulation.

I would use the existing lower arm post as the core mold. The pivot joint would still be free to move around so the articulation would still be there.

Like a silicone sleave? Interesting. That's the way i did the ninja turtle.

yea a solid hand that you pop on a peg with a silicone sleeve attached, slipping over a true type forearm.

No popeye thread yet. I'm having a hard time reaching the tailor. I'll post an interest thread once i decide if i'm going to continue working with her or just do the outfits myself. Either way, popeye will start right after Grinch.

You do tailoring too? Awesome....

in order to keep the Dumb and Dumber figures alive and well....ANNNND fresh...here is what i would say are essentials....

I say that the tuxedo outfits are the most Iconic of the movie because it really spoke about what these two idiots were....take a look

we cannot forget this specific I. O. U.

or the bottle of champagne....

or the Dead Snow Owl

or a dead Petey

I am wishing here but that lil scooter bike...well...I WANT IT!!!!....take a look at the picture for it and the briefcase...

and last but not least...i love these particular two facial expressions...these would be the sweet topping on an awesome cake that is dumb and dumber...

I think it would be almost impossible to settle on a facial expression for Lloyd, glad it's not up to me.

I like your suggestions for the accessories, but I think I would actually prefer the figures in their "road trip clothes." I wouldn't be disappointed by the tuxedos at all, and I get the appeal, just my personal preference.

All those accessories look great. well, I can't make a motorbike although I will get one if someone tackles that.

I'd really like to see mine on display with the tuxes and top hats. although the regular outfits would be a lot easier to construct I think the tuxes are the way this is headed. The outfits will be time consuming so I probably will not spend much time on accessories. I'd like to have one or two and tops on my list is the briefcase full of IOU's. "Sampsonite...I was way off."

Toria is very talented, but I wouldn't rely on her to meet a deadline. You'll probably end up doing the outfit yourself, Mike, just judging from past experience.

I would love to be wrong, she just doesn't have the best track record with custom projects on the board.
