I've never heard of this company, but this looks pretty cool. If the dimensions are correct then it's much bigger than the Beast Kingdom version.

I searched around and found their website. I also found pictures on Facebook of the actual statue in hand.

I know this statue is expensive, but did anyone purchase it? I'd be curious to see what someone who bought it actually thinks in terms of the quality. All I've really seen is one or two 20 second clips on IG, and definitely no commentary/thoughts on the piece.

I'm a Disney collector and took the plunge on this piece. Got it yesterday and it's absolutely gorgeous! Everything about it is A plus. It's huge and VERY heavy, 65 pounds. It came well packaged with velcro straps instead of tape, gloves, laminated certificate, and commemorative coin. They've now got a metallic finish version that just went up for pre-order on Spec fiction and I grabbed that as well as the edition size is only 168. (I think I like the new version even better!) I reached out to the company Paladin and this is their first piece and they said Woody is on the way. Can't go wrong with this piece.

Wow, thanks a lot for your feedback. I've had the hardest time finding any reviews/feedback on it, as well as in hand photos or videos. So your insight is great. I definitely hadn't heard they are making a second metallic version, or that Woody is coming next.

I had to do some digging and follow different Asian statue pages on Facebook. There's also the FNC anime page and store you can follow for info as well. I'm glad to know this is not only legit, but easily the nicest Disney/Pixar statue produced. I wrote "Paladin Collection" (who is partnered with MGL Toys) on Facebook and they were kind enough to let me know Woody is on the way shortly. Definitely check out the metallic version. (Adding pics) Only 168 in the edition. I think its quiet now, but as word gets out, these will be very difficult to get. Spec Fiction Store is also great to deal with and they carry both versions!

I didn't even see them like that in the box. I guess now I would just wonder if it leave an opening rather than the look of the wings "closed?"

Hmmm I’m not sure how it would look. It appears they attach by rods into the side.

The light up base plugs into the wall and comes with a remote to turn it on/off. The two lights on his wings are battery operated. You just take the clear bulbs off and turn on the lights by pushing a button. Now do I need Woody?

Ha! Just a temporary spot and I wanted to give a size comparison for a similarly priced item.
