See...
that's what pisses me off about the media...
They put this stuff out to sell their sensationalist stories and make money out of a tragedy...

Why not instead, publish the story of how he visited burn victims in the hospital, and offer his support for their recovery?
Why not mention that he donated the $1.5 million settlement he got from Pepsi to a Medical Center's burn unit?...
This so called news and "entertainment" experts are really pathetic human beings...

^^^^ them!!!

Yeah, but it's a fact. He was horribly burned and went through a lot of pain. I wouldn't say that reporting his use of pain medication is sensationalism. The fire and everything he suffered because of it was an unfortunate event that changed his life. Should people leave out his abuse by his father too?

It's not just the Media. The public are to blame for buying papers and watching TV shows that report all this negative bullcrap.
We seem more interested in Who's taking drugs and who's shagging who.
The lives of vermin like Paris Hilton sell more storys than the postive things that real stars do
You will see the How kind Michael Jackson was 45 seconds into this video

That burn vid has been around a looooong time. He was a big star, people are interested in what happens to big stars. Sometimes to help see them as being just like the rest of us, sometimes to just plain gawk at something that is horrific because it is happening to another person, another human.

I look at videos of bad stuff happening to people sometimes because it is something that I can't imagine experiencing, yet here is someone that had to go through something that makes me shrivle up thinking about it happening to me. Like torture scenes in movies, I just couldn't imaging being in that position. I know I would handle it extremely poorly so I muse about it once in a while to try and put it in some kind of perspective for my own understandings of life, death, pain, and pleasure. I also can't imagine what it would be like to be with Asian twins...

Yeah, but it's a fact.

Really? He might've used painkillers during his recovery, but to say he was addicted to painkillers for over 25 years because of this is a pretty bold accusation without actual proof of it...

I think it is... because it's not to inform people... is to "cash in on somebody else's tragedy"... I'm not saying that it's wrong to know about MJ's personal life, but how do the media magically get ahold of all this information from "sources" until now?... yes... Money and greed... and people's Morbid fixation with seeing their idols fail...
^^^^ the media, and ^^^^ the people who buy this crap...

Thanks for that video Dino...

Kuzeh, people are trying to make sense of it all. And he was addicted to painkillers at least at one time, even Elizabeth Taylor said he was and tried to help him. Whether he still was won't be known until the toxicology report.

In the next year you're going to be hearing all kinds of things about him, good and bad, and not all the bad things are going to be false.

I don't think the media and the morbid people are trying to make sense of it at all!! They've been talking crap about him for years... it's just cashing in on a tragedy...

Yes, I know he was addicted to painkillers, I'm just saying it's a stretch to blame this incident and saying he's been a painkiller addict for 25 years... without proof!!
The toxicology report will only reveal what was the cause of death... I don't think it will tell us if he was currently addicted or not...

Look, I understand that people like the dirt, but I don't know... maybe I thought that all the nonsense would finally end... but seems like it's just getting started... and it's sick... and morbid...

You can't be serious. This is never going to end. People still talk about Elvis and his drug problems.

you know what sells is the CRAP so they give it to the people. Its sad but thats the world. Its funny how most people accuse him of ^^^^ yet they have no clue if its real or not. The Guy was weird but i admired the love he had for his Fans and his kids. I mean he was so huge that he could tell every single fan that came up to him go ^^^^ your self and nothing would change Yet he took the time!! :rock plus he was a collector.

I really don't have time to keep editing this thread from all the tastelessness. I think it's time to close it and move on.

All I have to say is that with Jackson and Cronkite passing away this is not a good year for anyone having anything to do with moon walks. Watch out Neil and Buzz... Things are not looking good.

My 7 year old.

No offense man, but that's gotta be the stupidest way of taking Michael's words out of context and turning them into cheap sensationalist fodder...

Records playing backwards is such a stupid and old concept...
Specially because NOBODY listens to records backwards... :lol

Oh and the cover of Dangerous, has so much symbolism all over the place that it's funny how they only focus on ONE element to make this stupid theory work...

Yes, Michael said a lot of things about the industry and how some people wanted to take him down, but using his death as an aide for propaganda, is pathetic and sad at the same time...
seriously....
