I hate to open up a can of worms but SSC left out any details in the write up about what this is made out of. Polystone? PVC? A mix?

Most likely polystone and straight resin.

I love watching these reactions. Some people Statueforum actually thinks the price is ok for the most part because of the base. Hard to disagree with them.

I'm just happy I found this place. I thought I was the only person in the world with a Sideshow PF addiction. I actually refinished my basement to make my statues display better.

I do wonder how the paintjob on that beautiful base will be replicated in the factory. Those wave sculptures deserve an excellent paintjob, whole statue doesn't work if it ends up looking cheap.

Pigment is mixed in the resin since it’s clear, they aren’t generally painted.

From my experience the place is way more laid back and the mods are on top of things without abusing their powers.
