The Buffy revival lost some serious 'potential' here (deliberate reference there to season 7). We now won't get to see an adult Dawn Summers. And as for watching the old show again, unfortunately this puts me off doing that any time soon.

It's hard to imagine what the new Buffy would be with all the characters they killed off, characters who would not age for supernatural reasons, and the ultimate Big Bad not being involved.
