Mine watches the back of my center channel speaker. When not in use ( which is almost all the time ) I put mine behind the speaker.

The Xbox can't process that type of stuff at low processing speeds, meaning it would have to have quite a bit of resources running for it to function--you'd be able to hear the fan.

Not only that, but on the Kinect sensor you can see a bit of red light from the infrared projector when it's on. That's not something they can avoid.

They can watch me all they want. I don't care. My life is pretty boring so they'd be watching for nothing. Plus my kinect is unplugged and put away when not in use.

Exactly. Millions of people who if they are in front of their Kinect are just playing a game, watching TV or sleeping or what not anyway... Seems like a lot of time to sift through for little to no valuable information.
