Just my opinion but like Pee Wee, tailoring is going to be pretty important for this figure. Everything must fit just right for it to really be successful.

The DX sets will have a small canister of oil like substance with the set, for those who wish to customise them.

Confirmed.

I would agree. One thing in particular I'm not sure is going to be possible unless sculpted are the boots.

Good point. If done correctly real leather boots would be better I feel.

Sculpted boots would maybe look a little harsh bearing in mind they are completely on show :dunno

It is a tricky one.

I think because they are fully shown that they do need to be sculpted. Newline does great stuff with leather and boots but they all seem to be too big. Sculpted from heel to calf could mean no ankle articulation.

Maybe sculpted foot with a soft top?

I really don't know the way to go on this one.

Both will have their pros and cons.

They are so tight around his calf that it'll be virtually impossible to find a material like that I think. The Alex figures boots are about as close as you can get if you use a material which in my opinion isn't even in the ballpark of being close enough for what's required here.

Wow!

Honestly, I am happy whatever. It is completely win win no matter what version rainman decides to go with.

This movie is so good! It's not for everyone but it speaks to the heart of two themes; Religion and Capitalism, and how both continue to be major forces clashing against each other in America even until this day!
