o Pop, i meant to tell you: i was by the spot in CHinatown this weekend--the one on Mott around the corner from Pell--and saw yesterday that you were planning a trip for some TTMs which was largely the reason i went. so i'll save you the trip, possibly. was told to shoot them an email with what i want as they have to check their warehouse, which i did last night, so hopefully i'll hear back from them on availability and pricing. anyway, my point being that, if you havent already, you might want to email them first to see what they can do for you. let me know if this is helpful and i'll shoot you the email address. or add your list to my order, whichever works for you.
the shop is right by my place so it's no trouble for me.

Man all this damn Pizza talk is taking me back! Who remembers the old school toaster pizza they used to sell in the 80's. I think it was by Buitoni. It was disc shaped and it used to always burn the roof of your mouth. I love that ****!!! If it was still around my freezer would be stacked!

DOMINOS?!?!? How could you do that to yourself?!?! Grab a plane ticket and we'll treat you right with world class pizza. Shorty and Marf are coming so...:lol Besides, we need someone around to say cool s__t like vampire ****s from outer space :lol

:lol if i could, i so would! who knows - maybe i'll even be there permanently soon enough!

have to agree, dominos is bad but i think it's better here than it is there. 2nd best pizza i ever tasted was actually in japan. this guy had studied making pizza in napoli for years and had this small place with an amazing traditional stone oven. i remember i had my own ethnic recipe for a while working in a friend's cafe there. pizza on naan bread with a coriander pesto and spiced tomato base. it sounds odd, but it worked!

mags - that mr. aziz pic is damn cool :lol loved those scenes in spidey.

My f___in' Milkshake Man has been awaiting customs clearance since early Friday morning :gah:

i've found that much of the best international cuisine i have had was in japan. they really are official when it comes to food--and not just their own native plates. really, second only to the country of origin, japan might have housed the best versions of other national cuisine that i've tasted. even the japanese italian restaurant here in nyc is outstanding, and trumps the food at a ton of italian spots around town, IMO. though the best italian i've had in this city and the country has to be Maialino, hands down. so damn umai!!!!!!!!!!
