Okay, I re-read their post. I think they're saying the figure is 250 while the truck is an additional 299.

Perhaps this is the answer to all the ******** prices we have been led to believe. We have been bred to believe there is no way we should be able to get a figure of this size for that price. I'm starting to like M8.

Me too, but if this all really does pan out FU to what we have been paying. This sounds to good to be true and we know how those things go.

Agreed, I love the idea of these figures at more affordable prices. I've never believed HT have to charge those crazy prices just to turn a profit. They must be making a lot on every figure they sell. Just wish M8 would show something more substantial.

1/6 figure with two head sculpts and an Oompa Loompa $250...1/4 figure $250...1/6 Lennon $299...1/4 TRUCK $299...and don't tell me that it's Lennon's licensing fee because NECA charged the same price for their Lennon figures that they did for every other 6 and 18 inch figure...this is not about trying to be rude to M8 at this point...its just about the math and it truly does not add up...

Typically, a license is 'exclusive'. So, in this case, yes, Sideshow is the only company that can make a 1/6 Jack Burton.
In certain cases, a licensor might carve it up for regions, which is what I imagine happened with Ghostbusters. Blitzway having the "worldwide" license, and Soldier Story being limited to China, but distribution being what it is means, Soldier Story sells to a distributor in China who then sells it worldwide.
Many of these licenses that Molecule8 has, I imagine, are 1/4 scale licenses.

Well, oddly enough, there are a bunch of Tamiya 1/4 scale RC truck cabs that are about $400.
So, as much as I hate to admit it, it's not totally outside the realm of possibility that they could offer this truck for $300.
Maybe Molecule8 is just "borrowing" an existing mold for one of these RC trucks.
