Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Yup, they did state they were including a Yoko doll as well but then people started cancelling and she was dropped.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Piano is a separate piece that will be sold by itself and not included in the Lennon set.

Really? I thought those renders were a joke. I say that piano never sees the light of day.

That's what they said on Facebook cause someone asked about it. Personally I could careless about the piano and I don't even want one if they made it available for order. I don't get it though why they decided to make one all of the sudden.

They sound like ideas at a whim. Until they start producing product I would look at all these items with a raised eyebrow.

They just uploaded what appears to be more renders of a grand piano , said to take 300 individual pieces lol

this is a joke- just use your head and digest what has been said and you'll laugh

It's a playable piano and the Lennon figure has now been upgraded to an automaton so he can play it, no further cost to the customer.

I don't think the piano will be the only thing from M8 that never sees the light of day...

Oh screw you! I am deaf which is why I can not write a proper grammar to meet the standards of the grammar police.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Serious question: How does being deaf affect one from writing a complete (correct) sentence?

ASL (American Sign Language) do not follow the same grammar rules as the English language do. It has its own grammar system, separate from that of English. For example, ASL does not use BE verbs (am, is, are, was, were) or anything to indicate the state of “being.” Nor does it use articles (a, an, the). What this means is ASL grammar has its own rules for phonology, morphology, syntax, and pragmatics.

When we sign, we omit out a lot of words-

You would say, "The ball was thrown by the boy."

ASL signers would say, "Throw ball, boy."

To translate their sign language into writing sentences on a piece of paper or typing it out is pretty much difficult for a lot of deaf people. I was fortunate to attend hearing schools growing up until I graduated and I can write fairly good but sometimes I mess up here and there.

I hope I explain it clearly enough? Thanks for asking.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

That's actually really interesting :clap

Also, "The ball was thrown by the boy." is passive. The better way to write it would be in an active voice "The boy threw the ball." The boy is the subject of the sentence and performing the action, therefore should be first.

Grammar thread is better than endless render thread, IMO :lol
