Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

You know this how?

Basic reading comprehension.

It also helps that I lack the desire to be intentionally obtuse or disingenuous.

It's easy to see that their behavior has been misleading at best. Having said that, they have done more to show us the progress of their figure than any other company in the business right now, showing us concept to the current state of completion, iterations and improvements.

The irony of them showing us these steps creates the impression that they don't know what they're doing. I'd imagine if every other company was as forthcoming showing us these incremental steps, it would create a similar impression, as though the whole industry is filled with manufacturers who haven't a clue. The further we go along, the more apparent it becomes, why manufacturers aren't more forthcoming with sharing their process. It only encourages those who get their jollies from making jokes.

There are definitely some here who just come to do just that. If this product is of no interest to them.... why post in it multiple time a day just to repeat the same point over and over? They should just unsubscribe and move along. It prevents any chance of a positive discussion... not that any can even be had with the never ending pitchfork mob.

Bottom line is that release is coming. Could there be another delay? Absolutely. But those who call them scammers and thieves... why would they still persist? Why would they get a huge talent licensing company to stick their neck out for them? That is a lot of work to just scam a bunch of toy collectors.

Some people just exist to tear others down....

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

It's no scam. It's a new company trying to break into the 1/6 market...over reaching in their claims.....and hitting unexpected hurtles by people who may not have known what they were really in for from the beginning. But...it will come out and I for one...hope it's a stellar release and we will see more in the future.

This....

The problem is at some point they should have admitted this rather than lie about it....

Unless you believe they are hapless victims of delays they could never have predicted or controlled...

No where does it insinuate that he's talking about the entire production run of figures.

Let's also not forget the ignoring of people requesting a refund. That's really hones too right? Shall we chalk that up to inexperience as well?

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Till now they never explain why did they claimed that the production was ready and shipped 2017 May when they’re only completed the prototype plus approval end of 2017. Stop trying to compare this to Hot Toys lmao.
This whole charade is a joke, “1/6 game changer “ my ***.
Yeah probably they’ll release April 2018 eventually but aren’t you worry at all the how the final product looks like since they haven’t shown any at all since they claimed they were ready to ship September 2017.......wait, was it October 2017 or November 2017....... I’m so confused now.
Will those M8 supporters please stand up and clarify it?

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

I don't recall ever seeing a production piece during this entire fiasco. It was maybe three or four months ago they showed up at some chinese toy show with three Lennons that weren't even completed? So I don't buy for a second these have been fully produced or that they'll show up in april. Just like I didnt buy that they were shipping the five previous dates.

That's the fundamental part of it. They started on a wave of hype and BS which is all quite fun but then when people ask for their real cash back they get ignored - that's when the funs over.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Did they lose their funding to make Lennon when everyone cancelled?

In fairness...they would have got a different reaction if they had admittedthat what they were showing was the "work in progress" people would have loved that in fact! The fact that they repeatedly said that the figure had already been finished and they were simply showing us "old pictures from a year ago of how they got to this point" was the problem...here we are almost a year later...Are they thieves...probably not...liars...definitely as evidenced by the clear example just provided. Do I hope that the Lennon is awesome and they make Travis Bickle? Yes...do I expect either of those things to actually happen...no.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Some people need to listen to Lennon's lyrics and practice that...

all this hate/perceived hate over a Lennon doll. very sad.

Seriously! Being called out for my apparent sexuality sure isn't practicing peace and love.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Bottom Line:

M8 John Lennon Figure will be released after long delays in development and production issues. Same as BW GB and BCS GF Bond.

If they nail the sculpt AND paint apps, this may actually be a high quality figure, the outfits alone are extraordinarily well made.
