Re: Molecule8 (New company)
One thing I have not seen anyone bring up is how durable this "skinned" body is going to be. I have a number of Phicen figures and if you leave them in any sort of pose (not even that dramatic) they start to have issues. I left one of my ladies in a pose with her arm straight out in front of her, not even that exaggerated, like she was throwing a dagger and left her like that for about 2 and half weeks and saw that the "flesh" under her armpit was starting to tear.
Now all of my Phicen's stand in very neurtral poses on the shelf. I will mess around with them, put them in a few poses, maybe leave it like that for a few hours or overnight and then return them to a neutral pose so as not to damage their skins.
We have not actually seen that really cool skeleton do a whole lot of posing (or balancing for that matter) so I wonder what the actual posing intentions for the figures would be. I am most excited about Legolas but I would have him firing his bow which would eventually shred the skin at his elbows/armpits if left too long unless they have developed something beyond the Phicen skins.
Also really want to know what their plan is for hair on figures like Legolas. Real hair is something I really want to see innovation for. Legolas is really covered up with layers of awesome outfits so the skinned body for him is absolutely unnecessary.
