They've shown what they said was a production figure in the box about two or three weeks ago.

I don't think they ever said it was a production figure.

They showed it and then people asked about the hands, and the response was that it's an early prototype and the figure doesn't look like that anymore.

I don't know about that, she may be mistaken.

They go on and on replying to people saying it's not the final figure.

The longer they go without being able to show a figure, the more obvious it is that they were deliberately lying in May on preorder when they said the figure would be shown and delivered that month. It's really that simple.

You know what I agree. I think they were nowhere near ready to ship a figur in may I think the preorder literally gave them the flow of cash they needed to finish the production of the figure .

I'm really eager for an imagine Lennon I'm about expecting a KO or better quality factory peice of a great KA Kim sculpt. Accessories about as good as any other brand including hot toys with some looking awkward and clunky and some looking ok. Decent tailoring that will have some flaws here and there.

So what I'm saying is that I'm sure a figure will come out at some point. It will just be another semi decent figure and nothing close to what they are touting.

This kind of deceitful marketing is not what we need in this hobby.....we see it too much as it is...M* could have broken that stereotype...but I guess not.

We are all culpable in making this they way of business not only in this market but many many others....

Personally , I would like to see everyone with a pre order cancel it if this figure does not show by years end.....same goes for every other pre order with every other company. Why do we put up with this?

Yup if the only issue with releasing in May was giving their retailer partners a chance to get on board (as they claimed) I am certain that they would have been more than happy to have filled their own website (not to mention other publications that cover pop culture, music, action figures) with pictures of the complete Lennon figure by now. Would have only generated more publicity and more pre-orders...but let me guess the M8 philosophy is probably that you sell more figures by showing nothing...?

If what you actually have in physical form is significantly beneath the computer renders you are showing the answer is definitely yes.
