This goes for the Mimir head as well, the hair strands don’t have enough detail on the beard; they’re just way too thick with no fine detail, makes it look way less realistic.

GOD OF WAR still has a stylized art style,it shouldn't be realistic, I absolutely love the artistic swirls on Mimir's beard.

P.S. we need a new weapon to be added.

According to the boss, in planning stages since a new body is required for Atreus.

That said, pre-orders might have more surprise gift besides Mimir's head and the boss has hinted on having a cloak as the surprise since other users have commented on it.

This is such a below-average GI-Joe.. but I hope it'll sell well so they make Atreus to go with my Mondo Kratos ok-ish Atreus is better than no Atreus.

I know I know. I noticed this game uses some unique/new ''hair technology?'' It looks so realistic, tired of TressFX hair or whatever it was called, got glitched pretty often.

I was already on the fence of pre-ordering because the Mondo one is rather expensive for me to acquire now, which is kinda my fault but still.

After the updates confirmed I did place a pre-order, I finished the game last night, 100% everything and unlocked the platinum trophy, what a masterpiece.

I think it's around 40-50 hours.

Damn it would be great if they're actually making an Atreus. Need a figure to pair with Kratos. The fur cloak that he has at the start would be a great extra as well. It's great to hear all the updates from them for this. Hope they knock it out of the park.

Nice, how many hours are needed for 100%?

Somewhere around 40 hours sounds about right, PlayStation 5 shows my save file to be around 35 hours.

It's 6 AM here,just finished the game, have played only the main story, wanted to finish it fast bc spoilers are hitting internet and I see them everywhere...
What can I say? Had one of the greatest time of my life. Teared so many times.True masterpiece... Kratos character development and writing is just amazing!!! What a rare gem!

Definitely need Atreus,Thor and maybe Freya figures.I'd buy all in a heartbeat!!!

I find it crazy that there is not a whole collection of official merchandise. These companies are missing a big coin.

how come no one is complaining/talking about how small the axe is as well as all the other issues from the prototype? It isn't supposed to be a huge axe, but it isn't nearly as small as it shows in the promo pics.

Cuz if you looked back 1-2 pages you would see the sea of posts talking about how they're addressing that along with the neck + sculpt.

Yeah I gotta hand it to them. Glad to see they're taking all the feedback and actively trying to improve the figure.

They should really just take the 3D model of Kratos from the game and use that though. It's from the first game, but it's out there to download for free and the sculpt can be used for this as well.

Doesn’t really work that way. Yes you can download the model, but it’s on a different format. You can print it but it won’t be as detailed. On the game they use a graphic texturing. The model could be used as a “guide” as a silhouette of the shape. But to make it as a printed product, you have to redo pretty much all of it.

Yes I understand how it works, I work in 3D animation/lighting. I'm saying they can use that 3d model as a base for their face. Bring it into Zbrush as a basemesh and work on top of it. Sculpt pores, beard, etc. I'm assuming their sculpt was started from scratch.
