Finally decided to jump in as I found one for less than retail. What a difference a body swap makes… not sure I’ll buy any other mondo 1/6 but I do really like the headsculpt. Happy overall with Macready but I may take a pass at weathering. Now I just need to find a 1/6 bottle of J&B scotch

17th of december and no shipping email from Mondo with two delays in release date. This is a joke, specially considering the timed and this one should have been released with a month of difference!

Curious about this Mondo stock body and if it’s any good. I will find out soon enough when in hand and decide whether to make the switch 😉

This was my post the day I received the figure:

It's the weirdest looking body I've ever seen. They even painted it to accentuate the muscles.

The neck, which was apparent when trying to pose him, is angled forwards like one of the bootleg brands of TTM19 style muscle body:

The peg in the boot is placed so high up that it'll pose a problem for any body swap:

My first thoughts were somewhere between Alien and Resident Evil.

I removed the pegs and using brute force because this is the kind of kiddy I can be managed to fit the boots.

I also used an AT011 on mine.
Getting the jumpsuit off the stock body was a bit tight, I was scared I was going to mess up the zipper, but it eventually came off.
I have no idea what to do with that he-man body now lol I just put it back in the box.
I'm tempted to add some snow to the boots and find a good snowy display base for him but i think that may be abit over my head

Nothing that people havent said.

-body is useless
-sculpt and paint apps are well done.
-painted zippers are a huge fail
-jacket made of pleather, wont last long
-a lot of mods to be made to use boots and gloves (why didnt they give more gloved hands to hold shotgun and a lantern? Is another Macready coming?)
-monsters well designed and painted.

Hope Mondo learns and delivers better figures in the near future..Fingers crossed for John Nada

Hey everyone. I finally got my MacRready and am looking to do a body swap. I tried going with a Easy & Simple body but the skin tone was too dark. MacReady is quite pale. Does anyone have an recommendations? I know the WorldBox body was brought up. How does the color match the hands? Does anyone have any cheaper alternatives?

@elvis1976 Hey, sorry to bother you. Would you be able to tell me how you went about removing the hair that is left after removing the main hair piece? Did you cut it or grind it? I'm entirely new to this and any help would be appreciated.

One other question: What hoodie did you choose and where did you get it?

Again, thank you for any help you can provide.

I ended up cutting down the hand pegs that came with the mondo to make them fit in the worldbox. Its a snug fit, not perfect, but they stay in.
