I'm blocked at work, does someone have a link to that? I could always see what I can do for you guys. There are two Gamestops near me.

Here's a link to a story I found on it.

Funko and Gamestop Team for Exclusive Black Friday Mystery Box

And here's a picture of the figures:

So you buy a box and hope you get the one you want? That sounds like a gamble! At least with them being $20, you can easily resell whichever one you get for that cost to have the boxes pay for themselves until you get the one you want. Unless there's a limit...then it'll be tougher. 1 in 8 has a special gold variant of these five? There's gotta be a limit, otherwise the first person in line will just buy all the boxes, get all the figures they want and STILL make profit reselling just the Pops! :lol

I'm thankful there's no Star Wars figure. :lol

Oh, and speaking of Star Wars, Smuggler's Bounty closed their first box yesterday, which was revealed to not just be Force Awakens, but Force Awakens: First Order. Their January box will be Force Awakens: The Resistance, which is pretty awesome to give each side their own box. And releasing the resistance after the movie is released allows for a variety of things to be entered into the box in a post-spoiler world!

Not sure if BB-8 being on the cover means he'll be the exclusive Pop. Is that how it's always worked in the past? If so, I wonder what they'll do with him to change him up from the original one. I guess it could also be that he's a recognizable good guy that can't spoil anything as well!

That's my question if there's a limit

I haven't gone to a store on Black Friday in years and I'm not about to start now--even for a chance at the Superman funko.

I would think there HAS to be a limit. There really just has to be. If not 1 per person, then maybe two. I could see people arguing that they want all five so they want to buy at least five...but really, for $20, you could sell each of the Pop! figures for $25 easily on E-bay after, so you'd be spending nothing if you wen't and bought out a store. Even if Ebay is flooded, odds are you can get your money back on each box without worry.

So I'd think they'll put a limit on it of two. I think that'd be the most reasonable way of doing it. Unless they think they won't sell at every location, so why bother with a limit. Five would be the most, I'd think though. One shot at each, if not, better luck next time. But hey, who knows!

As for going out on Black Friday, I'm with you. I used to go out there no problem. Had fun buying some Blu-rays and games and that was it. Now I just do it all online. Will these be available online? If so, I'm sure you'll be able to check out with a few with no real issues that night.

Supposedly they're exclusive to the retail store. I'll wait and see but doubt I'll take a trip to the store. I'm sure they'll pop up on eBay--hopefully for a decent price.

That's probably true. I'm sure it can't hurt to swing by a Gamestop if you're up at some point. No need to wake up for it, but all it takes is a lack of Pop! interest at one of the stores in your area and you're set. Otherwise, yeah, I'm sure you'll be able to find a Superman up for $30 or so at some point, if that.

I feel stupid because I don't know what 2 of them are! :lol

Yeah, I think the soldier with the mask is from Fallout, and I BELIEVE that little robot is this guy from Borderlands. Don't feel stupid though...it's not like those are overly mainstream characters if you don't know the games at all.

Show it! :D

I forgot to cancel my zavvi box for this month. I already know what's coming. Worst box they've had, except for the BttF Pop. I'll have to make sure to cancel it after I'm charged for the SW box.
