Gah - on the basis that the subscription boxes I'm signed up with roughly equate to all of my current HTs layaways per month, I think I'm going to finally bite the bullet and get rid of them, nine times out of ten even when it's a box that I really really liked, the contents have tended to be tat that I'd never normally have picked up for myself (Which admittedly is part of the charm but still). I work with kids, but most of the things I get the kids wouldn't want due to them being so young, cause other wise I'd be giving some of the things to them.

Hah, yeah exactly, I've gradually realised it's the surprise rather than the items that are the selling point, since most of them tended to end up parted out on evilbay pretty quickly.

I think in the future if the mood does take me for a random surprise box I'll be sticking with the UK equivalent of BoBoS (Super Geek Stuff), for a start they don't require a recurring subscription so I won't have to remember to cancel, and you get to dictate the theme/character it's based around.

Though I am still waiting on the pre-cancellation boxes for July/August depending on which end of the month the box ships... I think I'm looking forward to the Lootaku crate the most , because of August's theme, it should be a good box to end it all on.

I got the TMNT box for birthday...it was terrible hahaha. I'm so over these boxes that are out there. MCC and SWSB boxes are just getting meh. I'm tired of getting c3po nearly every month with smug. bounty box.
