That's what I was hoping too, but Ada is pretty fast (who said too fast?) and the weeks are going by. I think this was a private commission. If the guy who commissioned Bill wanted a Sookie, I'm afraid she would have done it already... unless the guy is broke! So we'll have to find another source I'm afraid!

If I can't find one, I'll sure try, but women's faces are much more difficult to do. They are prettier and you can't play with the lines to get the likeness. But I may try! Though at the moment, my next goal is Doakes, and, maybe (but this one is unsure), peter Cushing as Van Helsing.

Doakes I am in for. You should do a Brian (aka Biny aka Ice Truck Killer) and a Miguel Prada.

Unless it is a bad picture, the head is way, way overscale. At the very least it needs to be put on a body with a neck!

I don't think she cares if the scupls turn out like the actual person. She has had some that have hit the mark but she also subs out her work from what I've been told. IMO the hs is to big esp. for a female.

That Sookie HS is unfortunate. Sorry guys.
It's all part of the Russian Roulette game you get when waiting for Ada to do something on her own, or a commission in someone elses hands.

If you ever want to get a HS from her, the best way is to commission it yourself so you have some say in when its done and the changes you'd like her to make. Even then it can be like pulling teeth, she'll lie about the headsize, and the previous version may be way better than it looks with the revisions you asked for (Lance Henriksen), but sometimes she's pretty good too. It's a very double edged sword.

With True Blood being as emmensely popular as it is though, I can't imagine there won't be other heads from the show coming down eventually though.

Okay well here's my latest paint jobs I've done. I'm truely proud of what I did with Bill Compton. He was hard to get right but I did what I could and I'm proud of the outcome.

I did the blood on his face because I want to make this figure like the season 2 cover with the blood splattered on his face.

Hey, at least now you know what to ask for for christmas, right? A real camera! The problem comes when you have a nice camera like me and STILL take lousy pics!

Thanks Rick. I have always been bad at taking pics, it just isn't my thing. I've learned to be comfortable with my abilities and trust myself instead of paying at least $50 each to get painted. I'll save that for the major ones.
