I've already discussed this with The Josh, but PF whould have been awesome with the arms outstretched pose

However, I think they chose the pose they went with so it wouldn't take up a lot of space. I've noticed that with a few statues.

It's still an awesome statue, but pose could be a little better.

SSW Witch-king looks cool, but I don't like the way the mace looks on it.

That would make an awesome PF but man what a bugger it would be to pose!

I did this mod a few years back. I have changed a few things since then like the height of the head on the shoulders and the way the right arm with the sword looks but you get the idea.

Very well done

Anyone have problems with the sword fitting? My EX sword does not want to stay put, it keeps wanting to pop out. The regular sword fits fine and I can push down on it and it stays firm so it is not the weight of the fire.

That sword can pop out very easily yes. I never move or work near this piece without taking the sword out

But it does stay right? Mine won't even stay unless I push it in as hard as I dare and even then it wants to fly out just looking at it. I watched a few vid reviews and theirs stay pretty well, no way I could even breathe on mine without it popping out. I think mine may be a defect(it was a NIB one) so not sure what I can do as SS won't have any others.

Cant just shave/sand it down ever so slightly? Just a tad at a time until it works for you?

Forgive me as I do not have one, on the hunt, so I do not know exactly how it is held in place.

I think that would make it worse. It is not that it won't go in enough, it seems the angle of the blade is a bit lower than the regular blade. Add the weight of the fire and it just wants to jump right out. There is just not enough material for the mount to handle the angle and weight. It is the worst attachment method I have never seen on a SS piece. If the fire was on the regular blade it would be ok, but still bad. I honestly don't know how these don't get destroyed all the time unless mine is just that much worse.

Yeah, I don't care for it either.

Ah. Can try to opposite method I have seen others mention from time to time.

Add a TINY bite of tissue paper, seeing if that adds enough, piece by piece? Basically using the paper to make more and more snug.

Mine will stay in for an appreciable amount of time but eventually just walking by will cause it to fall out. I've had it happen twice, fortunately without damage so I've quit and substituted the regular version. Actually, unlike my comments when I saw it for the first time I like the fire sword since it adds a bit of color to what is otherwise pretty much a black hole (unless its got adequate lighting).

Wrap some loctite mounting putty or quake putty around the area and place it in. Itll lock in tight and withstand through an earthquake and is easily removable.
