Every statue I have ever bought has gone on display and stayed that way...I mean why else buy them

IMO that type of person is not a collector I mean you don't call someone who buys houses for investment a 'collector' of houses...I don't think there is anything wrong with doing this for investment though

The only reason I could see buying something and not displaying it, is if you don't quite have your display area ready yet or something. If you buy something knowing you don't have any room for it and it's just gonna remain boxed up, then that's a waste to me. Unless you plan to rotate your pieces, which is probably what I'm gonna end up doing eventually. Everything I've gotten so far has gone straight to being displayed though.

If you would see my family room right now, you'd understand why I have little displayed. You can't even sit out there. No tv. I'm totally redoing the room, but I've been just extra slow about it. This long winter has made me a lazy ass.
