Re: Moronic eBay Buyer! Joker DX 01 Horror Story
What a ****ing arsehole. And you can't so much as give him a negative feedback.

I'm honestly thinking the op needs to talk to an attorney and file a civil action lawsuit against eBay if they rule in buyer's favor. This is an obvious scam that has happened more than once. If they file in the buyer's favor I wouldn't even go after the buyer anymore. I'd go straight after eBay. They make their money off of the sellers but don't want to have our backs. Something needs to be done or nothings going to change. If I was you I'd go to small claims court and file aginst ebay.
Perhaps people should now add 'Any returned items will be filmed, opened and inspected in front of delivery man' after the 'Returns Accepted' bit.
That's a GREAT idea. I don't usually accept returns, but it's good to keep that in mind.
I've heard that its best to accept returns - its not going to stop ebay favouring your buyer and forcing you to refund - and then your buyer still keeps your item. Now as it happens that has ended up being the case anyway for the OP.
I think you mean a hit man... just with out the killing part right (wink wink). In reality though as much as I despise these @$$ holes, ebay is really the party most responsible for not taking standard precautions to protect sellers. When i first saw this thread i thought poor guy and sympathised. Whats the chances that i am in a similar situation now because of some ****** on ebay.
Hes made up about 5 things wrong with the item that are total lies and refuses to return it and yet still wants a full refund. I have said i will refund if he returns the item. Then he said he does not need to send the item because i breached ebay policies about description (which he is making up to get a refund ). Id love to start a service where you can bid on auctions to pay a guy to go around to a knobheads house and deck him.

I don't know how ebay is still around. If sellers aren't protected, they won't want to sell there and if ebay doesn't have any sellers, they don't function.

He wants a full refund and expects to keep the item because i " miss represented its condition (total lie) ". The item in question is a laptop. We got 2 for christmas and we only needed 1 so we sold it on ebay. It was used about 2 times max very minimally. But he has told ebay it is referbished, covered in scracthes, does not go online and i rigged the bidding to get my friends to bid up at the end to get the auction up. And the killer is he won it for £27. It was brand new and only opened at christmas. He won it for a ripoff price and still wants it for free.Christ. Keep us posted on that. Cheeky SOB, hes not even after a partial refund - but a FULL one and he expects to be allowed keep the item??
