I hate to say this but when SS products are being sold out of China, part of me wonders if it's a knockoff. I've heard too many horror stories already... Hopefully, this one is the genuine article.

I think it ended at $18,000 but the high bidder and 2nd bidder backed out so it ended up going for $9000. If you search Diane Kamahele auctions and look at the 2007 threads they talk about it a little.
