Movie poster collecting

I have hundreds. I think James Bond ones are my favourite. I have many star wars ones and horror movie ones too.

Some pretty cool collections folks. I got about 50 posters in total right now. I would like to frame all of them but im gonna run out of wall space pretty dam quick. Im getting the new Tron poster this weekend also, before the movie comes out and prices blow up. Would also like to find a jurassic park poster from the first move, but havent found any in good condition under $150

I always loved the Lenticulars, but they are so hard to find and forget looking on Ebay, I just cant afford to drop $1K on a poster. I would love to have the original Nightmare Before Christmas lenticular though.

I used to collect movie and video posters when I has a teen, but haven't done so in a long time. Many of the video posters got destroyed or lost over the years, but thankfully I held on to my movie posters, all of which are original one sheets. They are all pretty much from the 80s era. I don't have many...maybe 15 but they represent some of my favorite films of all time.

Off the top of my head:

Jurassic Park
Robocop
Hellraiser
Dances with Wolves
Hunt for Red October
Die Hard
Lord of the Rings
Gladiator
Empire Strikes Back
Raiders of the Lost Ark

The only ones I have framed right now due to lack of room are Raiders, Gladiator, ESB, and LOTR.

I love that Scott Pilgrim poster though, looks great, and that was a seriously underappreciated movie!

Same here. I bought my first movie poster "Moon" from Alamo. I love it. Problem is nobody from my part of the world heard of the movie

Hehe. It is the only way to go I think. I would take unique posters most people don't have over original one sheets any day. (unless they were worth some serious dough of course )

EDIT: Yes original one sheets can be rare but reprints are an abundance.

Anyone got this?...been looking for one a long time. Always thought this was a very unique film. Damit, why couldnt I have been into collecting posters in the 80's

I got over 100 but they are all in tubes.
Got some from the 70's,80's and 90's.

I am still trying to find a Predators One Sheet

That is why I stopped collecting posters.
What's the point if you can't have them displayed?
Now I just have a few that will be on display.
