Actually when I first saw LOTR: The Fellowship of The Ring, I didn't care for it much, thought it was boring. But I gave it another try a month or so later and now the LOTR Trilogy is one of my all time favorite movie sagas, right there with Star Wars.

Hellboy was like that for me... I didn't hate it when I first saw it, but was a little underwhelmed. Now I f'n love the movie :rock

And for the record, I thought Napoleon Dynamite kicked major ass the first time I saw it, and re-watch it lovingly. And...

if you got a problem with that; you can just lick my nuts!!!

Don't know what to say to that. The ONLY funny part is when he slapped his brother and ran away.

the professional. didn't liked it much in the theaters because magenta didn't kill much. but Leon the international version with all the extra footage, (freakin 15 minutes worth) it is now one of my all time favorite

The Phantom Menace. I walked out super disappointed, but really grew to like the film a lot.

In truth Napoleon Dynamite is a movie you either really like, or just can't stand. Sometimes seems related to age... but not always. For me, I was litteraly laughing my ass off in the theater.
