Moving a pre-order to another Freak?

Need to know how to do this.

I have an item on pre-order that I don't need anymore but I've obviously paid the NRD. There is a fellow board member who would like to take the order on but I'm not sure how to make that happen.

Is there something I do with Sideshow?

Or is it just a matter of completing the purchase for myself and then re-shipping the item to the other person once it arrives at my door?

Couldn't hurt to contact Sideshow and ask if they would let you change the shipping address. But you may have to fill out paperwork for that to happen. Easiest thing would seem to be your second option.

Yeah, they won't let you "transfer" a pre-order. You will need to pay for it out of your account. I did a one-time alternate shipping request with them once, you have to fill out paperwork and provide copies of your driver's license and send it to them, it was a pain.

Yeah, I've done the whole paperwork deal to get an adress changed before so I know what a pain that can be.

Looks like I'll pay for it and then ship it off after. Will be two shipping charges for the buyer but still would likely save him money and hassle from ebay or somewhere else.

alteregocomics let me do this for a PO item and they sent me my deposit back. Josh is awesome! I haven't pre-ordered anything direct from SS in almost 2 years .
