Id been to LA before, but just for shows Id play, where id stay a day or two and then head out, really only being familiar with west Hollywood. Can't wait to start exploring

Get the most out of California with a lot of road trips that are not all that far from L.A.
Yosemite
Sequoia
Napa, Wine country all up and down the state.
San Francisco
Santa Cruz (I want to move there one day)
San Diego, with Tijuana minutes away.
Palm Springs
Miles of coastal beaches
Death Valley
Glamis
Winter sports at Mammoth and Big Bear, if it snows this winter....

Las Vegas. I not a big fan, but yes it's close too.
