Just got my email from MR saying that the Obi-Wan Ep.1 Elite Edition lightsaber is ready to ship.

Sadly, that may be the case next year. The elites make you feel really good while their exclusivity lasts. After that you start questioning if the $525 was worth it when you can get the same saber for a lesser price when the LE is announced.

That said, I received the same email this afternoon. They are shipping either Friday or early next week per a representative from MR.

Actually as excited as I am to recieve this saber, I agree with you 100%. I ended up cancelling a replacement Luke EE right before they announced the LE and almost cancelled this saber as well, but I am going to wait till I see it in person to make the decision whether to keep it or not.

My card has also been charged, but no e-mail yet. My account says it is fulfilled whenever I click "View Detail", but it doesn't say shipped. I KNOW I'm in the first batch to go out. I hope I get a tracking # tomorrow, just so I know when to watch out for it.

I got my confirmation e-mail at 12:02 on September 29, and it went on sale at 12:00. I have to be one of the first.
