business went up in flames last night. I do her companies payroll taxes for her and her husband. They have a pallet company. After having dealt with major health issues now this. I feel so bad for them.

All I hope for is that the insurance company will not find a way for not paying. That is my biggest fear. Why does it always happen to the nicest people. Life is so unfair. :monkey2

Sorry to hear that Ness. I know that even though we don't know them, your fellow Freaks send their well wishes that everything will work out in the end! Stay strong for your friends and help them while they need the support!

Sorry to hear about that, Nessa. That's a huge loss. I hope everything works out for them. I hope you're doing all right too.

I can't even imagine what it must be like. Our thoughts are definitely with them.

Nessa , your poor friends.
Sometimes life is beyond unfair.
I am sending good thoughts to them
and you.

Thats awful to hear Ness. I do hope everything turns out for the best. Keep them in my thoughts.

It is indeed a terrible shock to your friends and a huge burden for them to overcome.

I feel very sorry for them and hope their Insurance company pushes their claim through quickly and successfully. It will still take them a long time to recover. I feel for them, and for any employees that may loose from this terrible situation.

Many people will be affected by this. At least no lives were lost, and more businesses and their families have been afflicted. It makes me a ashamed of the things I have to complain about.

Thanks dear friends... I told them your kind wishes and they are greatly appreciated. No news on the insurance yet.

I just watched the video on the link you posted. :horror

This must be horrible for them and I can feel their loss, send my best wishes to them.

I hope that the insurance will be easy on them, I know from personal experience how tough insurance companies sometimes can be.

So Sorry to hear about your friend's predicament.
I hope the insurance thing does go through successful and they can begin rebuilding the mental scars as well as the physical damage.
As Lonnie said, you will stay strong for your friends and support them like you always do.
They have all the freaks best wishes and a great friend in you to help them through this.

I work with the local Fire dept and I have battled a number of fires which destroyed properties and livelihood......I always feel for those greatly affected by such tragedies which could have been avoided with good housekeeping and fire prevention measures.

Sometimes, bad things do happen to good people. There's a lesson there somewhere....it's just not clear now when one is in shock and grief.

Ness, I hope that your friends are able to rebuild their lives and business again! My thoughts and prayers are with them! :grouphug :grouphug :grouphug

Yes I agree Darth Ramuk. The fire fighting facilities at this location were non existant. Water had to be trucked in, as there were no mains outlets. That is why so many attended the scene.

The local governmental building inspection services were neglect in their duties. They should be held responsible and accountable. Something which the insurance companies should realise and pursue with them. That should mean that those affected ought to be paid out immediately, but then again the insurance companies have a reputation for trying to hang onto their money, so they may withold payment till they are able to extract the money from the local government before making any such payments.
